Its sad to see that BE's get ripped off like this, even sadder that chef's take advantage of this.

I've sold two scematics in my BE career, to the same person for 500k EACH... a million credits for my "5 minutes of time" She was a friend of a friend and I didnt have the resources to make the batches myself.

ask the chef if he will make you amax unit run schematicof brandy using your additives and resources. Offer 50k and see what happens.

edit: you can't do a 1000 unit run of brandy cause they take multiple alcohols

Dude, it takes 2 days fora run of BSN"s to be done in a factory, let alone IN's that take 2.5 days. so thats 40 crates of BSN's every 2 days, you can make a brandy run every day, so basicaly no matter what there is going to be a shortage.Even with 10 factories running(no room for houses or storage) thats 400 crates produced. Thats enough for 10 chef's to make 1 run or 1 chef to make 10 runs. Now the profit ratio on your brandy? 3 to 1 on most servers. our profit margin isnt even 125% vs your 300%, so you really think that BE are gonna spend every waking hour trying to provide you with additives? I throw what i can in my factories then go out sampling animals to make pets, then return make my pets and go out resource hunting. When my additves are done i start my chef components(additives, alcohol, casks, dough, soypro etc) once i get all those done i make my foods. I find it EXTREMELY hard to keep a vendor stocked because of the constant Factory Lag. If a person asks me for a schematic, i say 400 credits per unit, IE 1000 run costs them 400k and i make my profit. Thats right off a 1000 run i make 400k profit, thats enough to buy 10k of high quality meat, enough for a 500 run of nutrients. Out of that meat i make my own personal additives of +87 and +117 for MY brandy. Im not going to belittle my own brandy by handing out schematics. You got your own materials thats great, sell them to me and ill make your additves, but i want my profit.

Well simple solution to this would be a BioEngineer Boycott. Have people on every server sitting at the Starports Spamming dont make Tissues for Chefs. The BE/chefs will be the real winners because more resources and a bigger client base. If you really cant take the boycott charge 90k a cratefor +83 BSN's. That will bring the chefs down to our 25% profit. Personaly i think the prices should be like 25k for lights, 50k for mediums, 75k for heavy, that evens out the chef/be profit margins. Course ima Chef/BE so my profit margin is really the same no matter what.

Brandy costs maybe 2k to make a BSN costs around 1220. Now thats figuring that your paying 7cpu for uber flora and 40cpu for uber meat.

And yet they still whine....actualy you know what i should say they really cuz its only certain chefs. Ive yet to have a huge problem with chefs complaining about my prices.

Kinda figured since there is a lack of BE on all servers that the additive prices would be higher vs the amount of chefs.

Ok let me start over......prices on your additives are no problem...lets say you sell a full run of med additives at 1.9 million.....and then it cost me 1 million to buy the resources...you then want 500k - 1 million more just for a schematic.....i think it so way too funny that you BE's want a ton just for a schematic...you want yout profit no matter what... even when you don't do all the hard work to gather the uber resources..If i ever had to pay this much for a schematic i would jsut buy off your vendor...

If you people want to talk about prices yes i sell my best brandy at 220k a crate its a +400 for 50min 30s 49% filling with 21 charges per stack....i sell my canape at 140k a crate its a 730 9min 42sec 33% filling.....Yes i work very hard at what i do..i have gathered tapes to hit a +20 / +25.....and yes i spend almost a hour every time i make a schematic making it the best it can be..i only make food that is +9 points amazing during experimentation...and yes i make perfect 12 points amazing..as both the brandy and canape stats above are both 12 points amazing products....Profit on brandy is huge....profit on canape is very very small given 75k per crate of intell 117's...when i know it only cost 8k - 30k to make one crate of additives....so if you would like to talk about prices go ahead..

I just think you BE's want to try to make tons of money for a schematic...making the profit you would have made if you spend the two days cooking the additives yourself....It is sad how you BE's feel that you can just charge way more then its worth to make a schematic....and then say well you should share your frofit with us BE's even when we don't do any of the hard work to gather the resources.....O wait i'll master BE too so i can say...."Chefs on Intrepid i am a BE...i grinded for weeks till i hit master...pay me millions and i'll give you my services...O and you must share more of your profit with me..just because i'm a BE"

No i will not give you my BE's name...and yes if you want me to make you a schematic for 50k sure i'll have no problem...you would just have to bust your ass like everyone else to get the resources needed...
