Thread: Uber Non CH Pet Question

I'm not going to comment on the "ethics" of thse pets, as it's been beaten to death and everyone already knows how I feel about them, but you should realize that these are probably not items you'll find on vendors. Why? BE's often don't even have vendors since we are not artisans, and second, I can't even keep "legit" non-ch pets in stock, there is too much demand for them relative to the time I can put into them, so I'd imagine it would be even worse if I were selling the 10k HAM ones. I'd say you were jackpot lucky to find one on a vendor at any price, and if you really want to use one of these, with the understanding that you run the risk of it becoming non-callable at any time, then I don't see how 700k is so excessive. Look at it this way, you are paying 700k, and saving yourself a mininum of around 20 skill points, by getting a pet that by all rights should only be callable by a CH with one "column" of CH skills. If I could pay 700k and get 20 more skill points I'd do it in a second. Hell, I'd pay 7 mil for that.

Oh, and Bendi, careful what you wish for... I wouldn't wish the Bria economy on any BE, it's a very rough server to be a BE on. I've even thought of using the character transfer feature just to bail on it and head for greener pastures, it can be that bad.

Hmmm perhaps, but so far I've only found one vendor selling em. I even asked some BEs that didnt have vendors / sell them , and they told me they cannot be made anymore either....

I understand this is a dead issue, but i have to agree that the ethic need to be upheld, as long as the community keeps voicing it and policing there own and sending in csr tickets to get something dome eventually it will, The Jedi have definately proven that havent they.

Admittingly the Dev's of this game have the If we ignore them , they will go away mentality , and thats exactkly what happening,. they ignore our requests to fix something, and eventually we all give up.

Personally anymore because of the "who cares anymore attitude" of the BE community, and expecially the attitude of the devs not fixing errors in this game that still exist from Launch. And there pushing of JTLS to get it out at the same time Blizzard releases WoW, yes think about it, they want JTLS to come out as close to WoW so that people will ahve to choose which product to buy $60.00 for a new game for $30.00 for an addon to an existing game. well many people wil go with the addon. The problem is , just like the original release of SWG, JTLS will be rushed and bug ridden, only compounding the current issues.

So at every turn , until mid nov, I will continue to bug the community the devs and all to attend to these issue, make a decission about what to fix, because i will be making my decission in mid November about who gets my dollar, and I hope everyone else does too.

Based on SOE's current track record well I'm not too happy

I played a Jedi , but decided easy mode was too easy

Point out one post from a dev that says it's a bug. There is a post that says the uber CL10's are over powered and will be fixed. Of course that was back in February or March. They haven't even been addressed let alone fixed.

In NancyJ's dev communication thread, they said this, but he is also VERY clear that they are not an exploit, IE the BE's making them are not doing anything wrong. They are an unintended product of the entire clone crafting system, so the devs have the good sense not to punish anyone thats making the best of it.

"Its not that its impossible , its just thjat its a bug aka EXPLOIT, can you kids pro nounce that word, I;'m sure you can't because you don't understand what it means. "

I dont see how having a pet razorcat with about 9k ham and 50 kinetic can possibly be an exploit. He doesnt even last that longcompared to anr3 unit with self repair and he sure the hell don't have ranged.Sure he looks cool, but r3 also has his own personality, and an electric based cannon attack.

My cathas a couple special attacks, but to get him to use themeffectively i would needto have CH skills.Once i dropped rifle and picked up tka, he became TOTALLY useless to me. I would have given him back to my friend but she got a "better one" which really wasn't that much better.

I am boggled that people are that concerned about it, and I am amazed at the price some people on bria charge for these pets when I can fight better than they can with novice brawler.
