I am fairly sure that a CH told me the Poison and Disease specials do not work 'on command' but are an innate ability of the pet that it 'may' land during an attack.
Any more experienced CHs feel free to correct me on this one...
You are correct that they do not work on command. Now whether this is intended or a bug, that's another story.

haha...yeah.
poo suicider and strong poo.
Yes poo suicider! this it a pvp type pet. the nonCH pet is gonna die quick in pvp battles (usually 3 hits or less). The only thing the petshould accomplish is to get the poo attack in. I'll shout it!
disclaimer: poo is not as powerful as it use to be (since DOC poo resists etc.), so I may have to forgo that attack special.

How much help you get in these forums very much depends on your attitude, people with a pleasant demeanor get help and suggestions, if you dont get any help then maybe you should rethink your posting attitude.
Well, the first time I post EVER in these BE forums I got 3, 1-stars. I got more help in the Tailoring Threads.
Saying BE pets are so nerfed they're worthless is not gonna get you on the good side of a forum full of BE's.
Well, they are near worhtless imo. At least pvp pets are.Are measures being taken to keep it from being a slippery slope? I know you are our correspondant, but I feel BE's have been suffering for a long time and will continue to suffer... call it frustation.
That and insisting on refering to strong poison as 'poo', which btw is really irritating, its like when people make up their own short hand and acronyms to make themselves sound cool.
Poo, does sound cool (it's an inside verbage from my guild that didn't carry over into the forums) And if you knew me, I am very humble. Please do not make assumptions on a few posts made in one night.
Combine that with the fact that you're actually asking for less than 6k Health, less than 10% kinetic and less than 10% stun (which I'm sure is not what you really want)
< = greater than (the "invisible x is assumed) x < 10% resists in stun
> = less than
(my bad, I will spell it out next time.
One final point, if you dont want people to respond to something you've posted, dont post it. Only post what you actually want people to respond to.
Point taken. I have a tendancy to write "stream of consciousness style." I will work on changing myself and how I write to accomodate these forums.

if you say x < 10 that means x is less than 10 not greater than, the small end of the bracket indicated that the number on its side is the smaller number, the open (or large) end of the bracket indicates that the number at its side is the larger of the two numbers

Gold Star for you!
I have 2 A levels in maths and a degree in computer programming, I better bloody know the difference between more than and less than

Ok its a little different logic in these forums. 3 > 1 and 1 < 3, agree? Now I want a template with stun resist greater than 10%, ok? I mean, common sense should prevail if i made a mistake, surely you would know what I meant as as BE. Why would I want to make a BE pet with less than 10% kinetic unless it is vulnerable (and thus falls into the armor hole category). Please give folks in our professionsome credit. I don't belittle your mistakes and spout "HOLIER THAN THOU" comments and responses onto you. I just ignore or try to offer another perspective. So far I have yet to get any helpful suggestions on this thread. Look at the big picture, please. Do you know the meaning of cinstructive criticism, or did they not teach that in grade school?

I'm english, I didnt go to grade school
But I'm not going to degrade this into an argument about spelling and grammar - I offered constructive critcism, I told you exactly why you didnt get any suggestions - if you choose to see it as belittlement and HOLIER THAN THOU thats up to you, I dont care one bit whether you get someone to do the brain work for you or not.

Ok, I mastered BE and I almost got the dna; 2nd generation and template2 down. I'm close,I want for a CL 10 pet with:
kin resist <10%
stun resist <10%
heatlth <6K
Strong poison is a must;
and blinding strike, intimidate or crippling strike.
Any suggestions?
Oh, what am I thinking, BE pets got nerfed along time ago, there is no pet making fun for BE's anymore. Oh well, it's worth try. You don't have to give the exact template just give me a hint to what to sample, I can figure out the rest. I was thinking pygmy tortons, but they are hard to find.
Ok, a misunderstanding in what I wanted the constructive criticism on. Specifically, I wanted to know a bit about what creatures to sample and what kind of temp1 to temp2 to combine to get a temp3 pet with the about kin and stun resists. I'm thinking pygmy tortons since they have like <30% stun resist if memory serves me right.
And you are right! This will probably be the last time I use the BE forum thread as I was doing much betterat it all on my own. Good luck on changing the BE prof the way you like it. It needs a lot of work and if the BE falls, so will the tailor/chef/CH that is somewhat dependant on us. peace
A post asking for constructive critisism would look like this: "This is what I was aiming for", "This is what I used", "This is what I got"
Then, if your post was composed in an appropriate tone, experienced and friendly members of the community might look at your work and offer constructive critisisms on how well they think you achieved your goal and give suggestions on what you might try to improve what you've made.
Saying "I want to make this pet that will be *insert random made up term that only members of your guild would understand*, I want these stats but I dont know why I'm bothering cos our pets suck so much" is not asking for constructive critisism.
