Thread: Large Decrease in Pet Stim Sells anyone else feeling this bite?
I did some math and concluded that 30 cpu for Pet Stim C's would consume some 80% of the cost for an item which took up only about 22% of the materials used.
So instead I'm working on mastering CH to make my own hunting easier.
I have had to take my vendors off the map because I can't keep my pet stims in stock. I have noticed a serious increase in sales of all type in my shop. I figured it was due to the holidays with everyone off of work and school and playing and buying a lot more.

Decrease in pet stim sales? Yes, a little.
Decrease in cash flow? Heck no.
Clones are my biggest cashcow now.
My best guess is that the biggest demographic that used my pet stims pre-publish were CH dabblers... BH's or some other such heavy point investment in combat skills with the remainder pumped into the first two trees of CH. These people were grinders too, people who used an unbalanced pet (graul in particular) as a tank while they leveled whatever the holocrons told them to. A good many of these people did not have any Medic skills, and relied on pet stims for healing their meat shields. So you actually need to sink points into CH to excell at it now, and most of these dabblers have taken the highway.
I get much less requests for large amounts of pet stims to a single person, but I've been selling a lot of smaller amounts to a bigger variety of people. In the end it's less total sales than before, but I'm okay with it. Having to stock pet stims less leaves me more time to work on clones.
On Naritus I have stopped making them for sale as I can buy them at crazy low prices from a couple of vendors who mass produce.
I would imagine they have done alot of damage to other vendors on Naritus anyway. My guess is that the same number of sales are being made just that its to a smaller percentage of vendors than before.
