True, which that still doesn't hit the 9 per as a bearded jax, and that's not even counting that I didn't take getting resources from the jax into effect. (cuz i used to sample them, not kill 'em.. but.. can't do that anymore). So, I just got 14 meat from a bearded jax test. That'd give me a final 15 xp per resource with a bearded jax. PLUS, it actually creates more creatures to tame so more CH xp per resource also.

Although, I'm getting really sick of seeing bearded jaxes. Heh.

I dunno if CH xp is easier to get anywhere else. When I sit down and grind out my 40 bearded jaxes I have in my pocket from my bit of running around sampling DNA, I get about 25k CH xp in less than an hour. And, besides sampling a couple DNA's from my pack, I got to DNA 4 without even trying just sampling DNA for my bearded jaxes, so I'd rather get the taming xp from my BE pets.

Congrats on master though. I doubt if I'll be the first or second on my server, especially since I stopped rushing it since BE is so broken and CH is perfectly acceptable at novice until the expected nerf comes.

I dunno.. DNA harvesting never took that long for me. I often do 'run-by' samples as I'm going from place to place. You just need to be within 15m to start the sample, doesn't matter if you're a mile away when you're done. (or even if the creature was killed)

Bugs.

Also..

My goal may be different than everyone else's. I maybe not be the furthest along on BE solely, but there's a good chance I'm in the running for the highest CH/BE. I'm rather far along in both of them because of the above methods, since I get just over 700 CH xp per creature I make (6 commands and 1 name at about 100 each) and I get my BE xp. Also, I don't know about your server, but meat is very expensive on Kauri. They often sell at 10 per meat, so a 100 meats (about two higher pets) would run me 1000 credits. I just can't afford to buy my way to the top like that.

But, obviously you did something right since you seem to be the first MBE in the game.

Check Naboo on the bazaar from wherever you're based. On my server it has TONS of insect meat becausethey havescaley hide and insects have no bone.

4 per is what I pay mostly, my max, you see it for 10 per but no one buys. I traveled offworld for a either a large quantity at 3 per or a moderate quantity at 2 per or better quite a few times.

Now is there _anything_ you can make that somebody else actually wants to buy?

;-)

But seriously, congrats.

As far as the Veermok goes, I have no idea what they even look like, but they may not be meant as fighters. It is possible they are looking ahead to player mounts, and these MAY be meant as high level mounts.

Also for those who say they would rather sample the DNA from their pets than tame and train them, you can do both.

Veermoks are big ape-like things and INCREDIBLY nasty fighters. Both Gungans and Maulers have tamed ones on Naboo. 1k health for a veermok is.... disappointing. They most certainly aren't mounts.

Grats on master. I just started the profession and am at clone 1, dna 2 so far. It'll be a while before I hit master because it's no longer a priority for me, cause as everyone has said, the profession is majorly broken, so like most other BEs I am working on becoming a ch, just have to get exploration 4 now and the prerequisite exp to satisfy the creature handler trainers requirements. I wish the mask scent thing still worked lol, cause grinding up a million animals for a handful of exp is the pits, BUT I get lots of meat for it which helps the BE part of my profession.

Not anymore you can't. They changed that yesterday when they took out baby sampling. You can't sample ex-tamed pets (BE or wild).

Actually Lice if you tame your dewback clones one by one, then release them and have one of your keeper pets eat them, you not only get more CH exp per clone, but you also get some meat back. For my dewbacks i get 34 units of meat back. That lowers the resource cost to 71, effectively giving the dewback full clone a 8.26 exp per resource ratio.

You can do that with just one skill trained in CH, I know I have.
