Hmmm ... do you think my 3 year old will eat carrots if I tell her they are actually seeds?

"Honey eat your carrots...they are made from the corpses ofa hundredlocusts. Plenty of fibre".
Anyway...I personally dislike Carrots cooked, butbut I likethem raw instead...a lot sweeter...maybe it will work for your kid if they have the teeth forgnawing them
Another option is to lace their sweets with vitamins

The first time I did roast lamb for a family meal, my son didn't seem very keen on it.
"Why not, son?"
"Dad, do we have to eat the wool as well?"

Well, I seem to have Hi-Jacked the thread
(Hope the original poster got a satisfactory answer
)
My sister never liked lamb becuase of the whole baby animal thing, not because of the wool...that made me laugh
As for trying anything once...Im not sure you would get much meat of a Locust...but I have tried Zebra, Springbok, Crocodile and Shark before. The Zebra was just like beef steak, the springbok rather like pheasant and the Crocodile was...well...salty. i don't remmeber the shark as I was rather young at the time.
What other abnormal animals has anyone else eaten?

You found croc salty? I wonder why.
I thought gator was very gamey. Nice in small doses. Rattlesnake was interesting, a pork like consistency with a bit of a chicken taste.

It's a more generic resource category (like "Hides" instead of "Leather Hide" or "Tatooinian Scaley Hide"). Seeds are any fruit (fruits, berries, flowers) or vegetables (fungi, beans, greens, tubers).
You can see the categories in your survey tool. Each level can be required in a schematic, and those slots will take any resource type within that level.
In general, greens and beans tend to have the best stats, although that's not a 100% guarantee.

In general I have found greens to be the best. They are usually alaways available during any resource shift, and generally have good stats.
