The Young Malkloc Plainswalkers are level 55 and the only ones which you can sample, the older males and females are up in the 80's although I cannot remember the exact level. All three are non-aggressive and will let you just walk right up to em. As for where to find them, thats the fun part. I've been all over Dathomir and the 2 best areas to find them seem to be far to the south in the plains past the tar pits and to the west near the Rancor fields but even then they seem to be a somewhat rare find. The stats on them are nice and they make excellent sources for dna samples to make PvE oriented pets.

Surefooted brackasets are far more common than the Plainswalkers though, you'll easily see7 surefootedlairs for every single plains walker you come across.
