BTW I even use the crappiest meat for the additives. The difference between 82 and 85 for example is only a few points lower on the food side of things. If you have good resources for the food, you won't actually miss those few points on the additive. The important thing is to get the additive in there, of any quality. The really good meat I'll set aside and use for some special type foods.

I have one chef in particular who buys from me who will not settle for anything less than a +84 BSN (or corresponding light or heavy additive). He has specifically told me that it makes a large impact on his end product. I am now working my ass off to get quality flora for the additives, but Scylla seems to have very rare spawns. For instance, currently we are 9th in terms of 33/33/33% flora on Dathomir (yet every time i found a good vein it was near a damn city or nightsister bridge). The talusian fruit I dropped on today is ranked 19th. Starsider, on the other hand) has both the ranked 1 and ranked 4 with 919 and 915 respectively and they're both on yavin.
I really wish that spawns were continuous across servers. If not identical in type, at least let each server have a resource that spawns that's uber. I mean, the best meat right now on our server is dath carnivore (yeah, great for drops) at a ranking of 762 (not even 800???)...

how is it easier to make tailor stuff than chef stuff? chef stuff only requires generic ingredients so its easy to find things thatare high quality while tailor stuff requires all sorts of specific ingredients

Doesn't tailor only need grind quality materials?

Ah god, I realize now he meant tissues and not "tailor stuff" (i.e. clothes). Yeah, tailor tissues are definitely more difficult, especially the ones that take 3 types of meat. I hate waiting for good herbivore meat for fear release too since I rarely stock the rfp tissues if they're less than +17 bonus.

Not true, fine sir! There are lots of chef schematics that utilize specific types of resources (grains from specific planets, specific types of Known Inert Gasses, etc). I just spent most of my game tonight tracking down such resources. It had been two resource shifts ago since this specific type of Gas had spawned...and it was crap!

I think he meant Chef Additives for BE....BSN and INN only require generic Organic, Flora resources, and Creature resources, as opposed to Tailor Additives which need crappy things like Mollusk and Egg =)

yeah tailor tissues max out at +20, but anything over +13 is wasted since you need two different items to get the +25 max effect anyway, so you only need to get up to 65% experiment. In contrast, you need 96% experiment to get +86 BSN.
