Ysalamiri

Unfortunately the databank doesn't even mention the voxen - they're found in the book "Star Wars: The New Jedi Order - Star By Star" - http://www.pazsaz.com/starold8.html

I don't know about you, but the ysalamiri resembles the langlatch to me

I vote for Ysalamiri

I want Myrkr in Jump To Lightspeed !

Let's have a planet where we won't see any Jedi at all ! (or only some newb whining about their force power not working)

Voxen : I don't think they should be included, they only come with the Yuuzhan Vong...
But why not include Cortosis Ore : this material can deactivate a lightsaber blade

I could see them adding Cortorsis Ore. Knowing the devleoeprs, they could "balance" this by having it shift in on a planet that can only be reached by a player spaceship, it would be in shift for, at best, an hour a month, the max percentage would be maybe 15% and the planet is shifts in on would be so rocky / hilly such that only personal harvesters would fit. It would be the rarest mineral in the galaxy.

cortosis ore is in the game, it just doesnt do anything lightsaber-related, its just a standard resource type

i was reading through your forumn to see if anyone had suggested or heard rumors of the anti-jedi creatures in concept or development. i hope the bio-engineer community pushes for access to some creatures that negate the force (ysalimari) or hunt using the force (vornskrs, are they called??), as it isn't like it is something that is unheardof inthe star warsstoryline.perhaps make themrare by only allowing the most senior bio engineers to craft them. (most'time in service' if u will).perhaps one of your proffession should create a new post and see whatall the other thoughts are.

Chances are pretty slim that if they did add such creatures to the game that they would be Bio-Engineerable. They would be too powerfull and ifthey were craftable by BE then every BH in the game would have one and that would throw things out of balance. If they did exist and were Bio-Engineerable they woulr probably be CL75 so as to make it difficult to sample and extremely rare. There is a much better chance that they owuld isntead be one of the super rare tamables like Bull Rancors. I would support that as the Creature Handlers have been nerfed pretty bad and could use a nice boost like that.

also many of you forget that jedis actually have the power to assume control of pets and, indeed, turn them on their masters so even if you had some uberly great pet you'll prolly find it chasing you...

Light Saber and Force Resistantr pets would most likely show up on Endor...I believe that was the planet with those creatures from the books......but then I dont remeber and I dont have those books anymore.

As for a Jedi killer....lol...maybe a player jedi killer might be possible.

But since their sabers cause more damage then any other weapon, can be thrown and hit multiple times super fast.....there is no creature that can stop a Jedi.

Sorry...but i found this out a long while ago when a super pet I made got taken down in two hits from a Spawned Dark Jedi Master on Dantooine.....and no the spawns are still that tough.

Nothing we can do.....and to think jedi players think their light armor is not ggod enough and their measily 5000 damage per swig is just not enough for them.

Sigh....pretty pathetic if you ask me...a rocket launcher should kill a jedi easily in a real situation...sure they can block but the explosion and fire would kill them.

And as for armor....well if a full suit of armor made by a player is not as strong as some jedi robes.....what is the point.

Is it just me or did anyone else notice a certain Jedi Master having problems with a single Bounty Hunter....hmmm sort of shows that jedis are not supposed to be uber powerful.

Oh well this game is getting very silly very quickly as the entire Jedi thing continues.

What next...jedi sabers will probably do more damage then a space ship laser cannon...which I will have to laugh at big time.
