The thing with eggs is you have to collect them a while to put together decently sized stacks; the eggs found in lairs has gone up a bit, but not much.
It takes a while to accumulate good sized stacks of eggs. Basically, I stop at every lair I see, except the aggro ones, and do the lair search. Toss out the live samples (they're worthless) and keep the eggs. When the resource shift hits, I sell the accumulated stacks to BEs I've made the aquaintence of, or on the bazaar. In general, the bigger the stack, the higher the price per unit you can obtain, and higher quality of course always brings in more credits per stack.

Chefs are going to be your big ticket customer for both of those. Go find them, and tell tell them what you have. Try using the Vendor search under the planetary map. Go find a chef vendor, and if possible the character name. And send them an email of what you have. If you can't get character name, try putting it on there vendor. You might want to put just a small amount there, at a low price, so they buy it. Then when you get the email stating that your stuff was bought, contact them directy and let them know what you have. Tell them that was the intraductory rate, and you have much more at X price.

Hey ive been collecting milk and eggs curious if your profession needs milk or eggs and whats the current cpu for each?

We do need milk, but I don't remember needing eggs. I would say no more than 10 cpu for decent milk, unless you have enough for an extended factory run. If you have 10k or more and the milk is good, it makes it much more tempting, as people generally don't collect it in large quantities.

Yes we need eggs - it's in the enhanced myoflex treatment schematic - 15 per tissue. Therefore, multiples of 15 are preferable. TBH they're worth about 10 cpu as well - and from my experience, there is almost always a very good egg on some planet (right now on my server I think it's endor eggs).

Eggs aren't required for anything chefs make (although they can be used as a meat substitute in a few recipes). I think BEs still have some schematics that require eggs, although I'm not positive. They'd be tailor tissues, no chef tissues require them.
Milk, on the other hand, is definitely a need for most chefs. In general, we'd be looking for 5-10k stacks, with high PE/OQ (and decent Flavor). Just because of the pain-in-the-butt factor, I generally offer 20-30cpu for milk with PE+OQ above 1500 for stacks larger than 5k.
Low-quality milk can be used in bantha butter (a component, so quality doesn't matter), for that I base price on the stack size; generally 10cpu for 5k stacks, 15 for 10k.
Prices do vary by server, so you may try checking around your galaxy's trade board. Plus, I've never been that good of a businessman, so I tend to make prices up as I need them. I'm sure some more effective number crunchers will be by shortly to give you more accurate numbers.

Quality isnt as crucial for milk and egg as it is for other professions, since for tailor clothes we only really need to get up to +13 for it to be marketable. I'd say anything over 500 average FL PE OQ would be OK, especially if OQ is the weak link since we can shore that up with high OQ wood =)

I offer 20 cpu for milk (any stats, 2k units minimum) and 50 cpu for eggs (any stats, 500 units minimum). I get the milk, and actually, got more than I needed- Active Tranqs don't sell much. But even at 50 cpu I can't get eggs delivered. I stopped making EMH's for that reason.
