Thread: Ideas for giving prefix names to clones
I did a common naming system so that it would be easy to sort/see stuff in my packs:
CL HAM Dmg Armor Name speicals reists
Since these seemed to be the most imporant things to customers so for instance last night I sold
19 7.0 180 - Kaadu SPoison/Dizzy 24/0/0/0/v/0/v
You get the idea. Its really nice when a customer says - what CL 30 pets do you have and I can sort straight to them.
Give me a good reason why AoE attacks should not work for clones and maybe i'll say it's intended. Frankly looking at the situation from all angles what is the point of AoE specials not working? To make CH pets more special? I hardly see the point there since AoE attacks are not that special as they do exactly the same as the the normal attacks but effect groups in a range of 5m. It'd be no different than the pet being told to use the special on one enemy after another in a group. Admittedly Open wounds is unique however it's not that powerful unless the enemy already has damage.
I've been using the same kind of naming scheme for specialized clones. However, I don't have as comprehensive line as you. Sometimes I run out of space. I wish that they could make it so the names we give the creature sticks even after it is called from the deed. So when someone does an /examine of the pet when it's out, the name of the BE who created it displays. That would be a great nod to the craftsmanship aspect of creating the creature.
Here's how I name my mad scientist creations:
an Alyssa Hardened Gurreck [CL45, Ar1, Kin60, 10900/8200/8300]
(a high kinetic, armored,healthgurreck)
an Alyssa Venomous Kaadu [CL23, Ar0, Kin50, 8000/7400/7300]
(a kaadu with strong poison)
an Alyssa Diseased Gurrcat [CL12, Ar0, Kin15, 4300/4200/4100]
(a gurrcat with strong disease)
