Well, we knew it was going to happen...SOE just can't seem to do something without breaking everything else. The worst part is they knew it was broken on TC and went live with it anyway.
This is the story of Test Center. The players there find and identify the bugs, and the publishes are pushed to live with the bugs intact anyway. This has been going on since launch, the devs have NEVER learned the lesson here. I suspect they were collectively dropped on their heads repeatedly as children.
What amazes me in that SOE is a division of SONY, a Japanese company with an excellent reputation for quality and reliability. Quality, in fact, is a huge part of Japanese business philosophy. Clearly,in SOE management'sview, timelines are more important than quality. They have demonstrated this approach time and time again. I wonder if the bosses in Japan realize and support this approach?

What this was a publish...
not only some new bugs?
Wasnt there something buggy on TC for Jedi and they took it out of Pub 18?
But BE … who cares

Please be advised, you may get complaints from Tailors because of tissues not working. Also do not use your old crated SC/RFP if you are a BE/Tailor. The mods from pre Publish 18 will not work as well.
That Scent Camofulage no longer works doesn't make sense as there were no changes to this tissue with CU or Pub 17. Did it change with Pub 18? If it did, in what respect did it change?
These Stealth nerfs/changes to our profession are getting old.
It's not a stealth nerf, it's SOE and its spaghetti code. They pull on one end and something unexpectedly changes on another. My favorite example was when they fixed image designer and broke all crafting.
An inherent problem with combining object oriented programming with a revolving door in the development team is exactly what we've seen with regards to bugs in SWG. I can't say I really blame the devs, but I do take issue with the software architect(s) and project managers. Those folks should be sent to Singapore for their form of punishment.
Singapour is a nice place to be ![]()
Nah there havent been that many bugs that bothered me, and im playing since 2 years...
But it's true that there are all the time the same amount of bugs ingame, if they take out one, there will be a new one for sure...

I don't mind bugs sneaking in. It's big, it's complex, and it's bound to have bugs. The part I don't like, is when they know about the bug on TC then push it live. The part that worries me the most is that myself and alot of other people are getting used to this.
No word yet on a fix I assume?
