Go out and sample high CL creatures, preferrably some aggro to maybe get better damage. Try sampling some elites as well.
Throw the crap together. Experiment all the way on physique, throw a few in aggression or max it(watch the damage tho as this seems to be the highest weighted level factor), throw a few more around the board for kicks.
Presto, creature made....

OK, I red the stickied stuff, and, no offense to anyone who wrote it...even after playing with my BE earlier, as a respec BE (my alt anyway, never giving up combat with my main lol) its confusing. Sooo...can soemone write a noobs guide to making creatures? I realize the system just got changed, but surely one of you all has figured out some of the basics for the new system and could share the basics.
The stickie stuff is old way and since the new patch has been out, the servers have been down most of the time.
If you read Lam's notes about pub 17, you'll know as much as everyone else.

I admit that the p17 notes I've thrown together are less than n00b-friendly.
unfortunately, until I get more information, the old FAQ's will have to suffice... they're all archived (and stickied up top), and I won't claim that they make understanding something as complex as cloning easy.
right now, I'm more concerned with getting the more esoteric cloning information out to the experienced BioE's, in the hope that we can work together to get the new system tested for problems, and to deepen our fundamental understanding of it.
once we know whether the new system is working or not, I can offer some solid feedback to the devs. hopefully, the system will see some tweaks and adjustments based on our feedback.
it is with this hope in mind that I hesitate to re-write a comprehensive FAQ for the profession, and for cloning specifically... if the system is not yet final, then any work I do towards explaining it in detail will be outdated as soon as it is posted.
I expect to make a stab at a 'working copy' of a FAQ in a week and a half, or so. changes to the system, and to the profession, will advance or delay that goal.

OK, I suppose the first post probably sounded a bit idiotish...I understand its been out a day and the servers have been down...but I have lotsa time to dump into stuff, only I have (er, had, 3 hours of harvesting and tinkering and a fairly decent chunk of the pub 17 sticky starts to make sense). Which brings me to another question...is there anyone who actually wants raw data to help figure out the new system? I'm keeping track of what I do to try and make some sense out of it, if it'll help one of the more experienced bioe's figure it out faster I'll cheerfully send it over.
