The only problem that I have with this calculator is how do you determine what the cost of the resources is when you harvested and mined all the resources yourself?

If you harvested all the resources yourself (via mining), either .5 or 1.0 CPU is a good place to start.

And a good, conservative estimate to work with.

Example:
Using the harvestor calculator from www.swgcraft.com, and these assumptions:
1) you harvest your own radioactive with a ber14 generator on a 60% concentration
2) mine your resource with a Ber13 Heavy harvestor on a 60% concentration

Your CPU for that mined resource is .211

Change Assumption 1 to buy your radioactive at 1.5 cpu and your cpu for mined resources is: .433

Mine your own as much as you realisticly can.

i think your prices for cpu is way off balance

I was a pre cu med crafter --and as you will soon find --the resources for the advanced Combat medic components are not only infrequent but to get a high OQ and DR is especially rare--hence its hard to find. They dont always spawn, unlike tat fiberplast, lok wheat etc. For NAMED resources that are not always available i start at 10-20cpu (depending on the quality i use, and whether i mined it myself or paid a fortune for it)

In addition--things like meat, or now the scaley hide--hunters were charging 150-200cpu on our server to hunt it (back then i was buying 100s of thousands of units because buffs were unreal meat hogs)--so to make any profit on those packs you will have to factor that in as well (if you hunt yourself --since be have scout--that will help reduce the costs)

The calculator is able to be fit with what YOU paid/value for the resources just edit the cost factor it will adjust the calculations.

I was thinking that very same thing myself!

Tissue calculator would rock.

nice sigh...most of the good minable resources have been costing me 5-8 cpu but hopefully it will be cheaper in the future

Ryka, thanks for the bump

Arp, I was a med crafter before CU for over 1 year and mostly i bought my resources cheap or self harvested.. Whlie people were paying 150 cpu for avian i was paying 75cpu for same meat. And I always sold my packs at fair prices and i earnt a lot. Now im trying new med stuff but the most popular med is stim D's and C's.

The resource cpus are just sample and you can change the values for your side.

Thanks to all for feedbacks..

Btw. i got BE title for to continue my med business and i havent any idea about tissues but if i find time to check them maybe i can work on another calc for tissues...

Would be useful to have a direct link to this tool in the FAQ (don't you think?)if you don't mind adding an entry to the FAQ with it Cornelius?

I already posted the link in Bio Engineer Profession: Medsthread.

Will I post to FAQ or you will put the link in your thread. It will be nice for community to see this calculator from top.

Thanks,
