Totally agree with Nemthang

It's much more satisfactory to make your own discoveries (man...is this english correct? )

I would like to know what server those of you who claim to still be making level 10's with 8k and up health are on. I am a master Be on radiant, and every non CH pet I make with 5k health and up ends up being invalid. I have stacks of papers next to me with notes detailing what each dna samples stats are before and after experimenting, and what level pet it ended up making. Because of my note taking process, it usually takes me about 5 minutes to put togethera pet once i have the dna samples i need. Sadly, since the last droid publish, the widely used voritor dasher/huurton pup recipe no longer works for me(50 pets made and all level 11-14). So I am starting over to find me a new recipe for level 10 pets. I will says that using only voritor dasher dna, then resampling the created pet to produce a gen 2 pet, you can usually end up around level 8-10 with about 2500-3500 health, but the resists suffer badly. My sales on these have plummeted since anyone can use a level 19 droid with 4000 health and 40 on all resistsand 100+ damage.
My tissue sales are the only thing thats keeping me from going broke, but pet crafting is the reason I became a BE in the first place. If anyone would be willing to colaborate with me, my email is [email protected]. Feel free to get ahold of me and i will do what I can to help you out. Maybe together we can make somesense out of this proffesion, and one day figure out why two identical dna templates can create pets that are several level apart from each other.

So maybe the checks arent working the same on each server, although that doesnt make any sense. I have spoken with several other master BE's here on radiant who also had to throw out their entire stock of pets recently too. It seems none of use can get a level 10 pet with more than 5k health to reach adulthood. Mine can be tamed just fine, but after a few days i get the invalid message when i call it. Are there any BE's on radiant who have been able to create a decent level 10? I have a bank full of them with 8-10k health, but the last 20 or so that i've tamed werent any good.

Critical failures work in mysterious ways. However, I still think pets made in this fashion are exploits, and at this point I've never seen a lvl 10 pet with 60% kinetic that hasn't been created in this fashion.

Honestly, no offense Lonewolve, but if you actually knew how to create one, you would disagree with yourself

I don't know why these pets don't get caught by the check, but I have never had one go poof. Probably has more to do with poor QA and Test than it does naughty crafting practices.

Critical failures have nothing to do with it.l

My toon is sitting on Chilastra in the Coronet starport right now and will be until about 7EST with his pet Bantha out.

Class 9

11K/9K/4K

Dizzy/Cripple

150 Damage

56% Kin Resist

Probably a little bit brazen of me to be so obvious about it, but what can I say? He is a full grown, completely callable, 2nd Gen pet that I can replicate at will with 2 or 3 different sets of specials.

Yes, he will be nerfed one day. No I did not cheat to make him. Yes he is overpowered for a class 9 as far as I am concerned, although there is no official word on that. No I will not give you any of my recipes. Yes I will make you one (for a price). No I don't care if you think I suck for doing so.

I looked for answers. I asked for answers. All I got was a blank stare. It drove me mad, and so, as a mad scientist, I unleash my monsters on an unsuspecting world and cackle with glee. MUHAHAHAHA.

Only guidelines issued by SWG can regain my sanity. Or boredom and moving on to a new profession. Or an open FSCS

I haven't made any with the dasher/pup recipe recently but I did hit a stretch where I was getting 11s and 12s instead of 10s. I went back and reviewed my source material and realized that the quality of the samples I was using was different from what I'd noted.

Try using

VHQ VD VHQ VD
AA HP AA HP
VHQ HP

Put one point in physique, one point in mental and see if you hit 10 dead on. 4.2k health, 3.2k action, 1.8k mind, 13-15% kinetic and blast, the rest vulnerable, 30-40 damage and sometimes dizzy and ranged stick.

VHQ = very high quality
AA = above average (quality)
VD = voritor dasher
HP = huurton pup

You can get voritor dasher missions and huurton matron and huurton pack missions produce pups (many more on the later). I haven't noted what level these missions are.

I also take my AA and HQ dasher dna home to Naboo and get nightspider dna to use in the same pattern. My results are more varied but if I use the AA spider dna it comes closest to 10s.

I've never made an 8k HAM non-CH but I have hit pretty close to 5k. Unfortunately I haven't kept good enough notes to know what I used and it's entirely possible it was 2nd (or later) generation. Hope this helps your sales.

At least he makes his refusal to share his information amusing!
That alone makes it more palatable.
