I think what we have here is either a punk kid, or one of those crazies who thinks this is real life, If it were me I would find out which, get several BE's together (chances are he has had words with them too) and ablsolutely flood the market with NON-CH mounts. At $2-3k a pop.
If I could, I would supply the Brandy, but I am on Gorath.
I don't know if they learn from these "lessons" but I am always happy to teach.
I hate stupid people like this, they can do what ever they want, but not you, no no. Who know's maybe they will apologize when the crack haze clears.
P.S. If you ever have some jerk try and kill Rancors your sampling have your pet attack the rancor then have them follow the jerk. Bull Rancors are poisonous.
(well they spread disease close enough) And it may not kill him, but at least he will be a jerk with a black bar.
(mine did die, and it made me smile)

Well, let's see.
Fundamentally, you're not in the same business. He is selling commodity pets and you are selling pets plus services.
You're holding two careers, not just BE. So you're spending skillpoints.
You're growing and training the mounts before selling them.
You seem to get a real kick out of the social interaction.
It's obviously not just for the money. I sell "trash" mounts myself on Intrepid in the Coronet and Theed Baz Terms and if I really pushed it, could get rich doing so (if the market doesn't dry up) with less effort, as I can't mount train them yet. And if you wanted to just make money as a BE you'd be focusing on chef supplies.
In conclusion - you're actually doing something nifty that adds value to your community and you're having fun at the same time. The other guy doesn't realize that he does have a few advantages that you don't. His pets will sell when he's not around and he can use skillpoints for other stuff. It's the choices you've both made.
For what it's worth, I'm doing the Creature Double Major myself and will probably spend a few afternoons doing the same thing as you once I can.
