Instead of all BE's jumping on me or any one else just because they are a chef, you really need to take a look at the profession, and try to get something changed if you can't supply chefs as that is one of the things that your profession is there to do.

Do you think we are just sitting back? It is in our top10, although it didn't make it to our top5 this time round.

i've read the top 10 as well, it sort of says things about that, but talking more about the other additives and more additives, not about the fact that BE that are just BE and not BE/Chef don't make additives

halthorn, the same could be said about any crafting profession. 10 lots is not enough for a crafter, i would not (as would any crafter) be able to stay in stock without additional storage. 5 lots cantina, 2 lots for 1 house, 2 factories (min, haha like that would work) 1 harvester. Would take years in order to be able to make anything like that.

And there's one of the disconnects between the chef and BE professions. Chef has one task, make consumable items. BEs have two and a half tasks. Make additives (consumable), tissues (durable) and make pets. The type of person that takes up chef sually isn't the same type of person who takes up BE. This is why you don't see many BEs with lots of lots and able to support the more intense chefs. This is why many chefs have their own BE alt, they can do BE additives with the same intensity as they do chef.

A chef complaining about not being able to find additives in sufficient quantities is like a BE complaining about chefs not willing to pay a decent markup. It makes you feel better but the other side just /addignore. The fact that the two are usually related is a topic for another thread.

Unless you want to start a BE alt, try to think like a BE. Make deals with several BEs for small numbers of runs. I would talk with a chef who was asking for two runs a week from me. I ignore those who ask for 10. Why? Because I don't want to do the extra work to support 10 runs. It's not what I consider fun. And no chef has ever offered me a fair payment for 2 runs a week, never mind those that want discounts for 10.

How much does a fullBSN run usually sell for on your server? I heard of someone on my server that is selling them for 750k. I was horrified. How can you afford to the buy the meat or even pay for your time harvesting them and sell them that low?

Well, for the most part you're not to be able to keep going with a price tag of 750k per run. They might think of it as nice profit if they collected they're own meat or got it cheaply, but in the end when they try to keep up at just 3-4 runs a week they'll have to charge more to make it worth while. A grind like that can only go on for so long.

I'm going to try to sell chef tissues again for 50k or 60k per crate for +87. Have no idea if they will sell at that price.
