Honestly I've done little more than wear my Master BE title and I have more business than I can really handle most times. My merchant character can put a shop sign out front now and list on the planetary map, but really most of my business was established before he could. I often get random tells for product and at this point I get a lot of word of mouth referals.

What are the changes that are coming up for BE?

are they gonna fix our experimentation?
add more creatures? Ones that a CH can't tame?

and how long is it gonna be before these changes come? I have a city to help pay for. i don't really have time to wait till christmas for dramatic changes.

When I wasabout 1/2 way up the pikeman ladder I could easily solo missions for 1K without a pet

Oh my God. Do you mean there's another pikeman/BE in the univese? And here I thought I had some sort of unique neurological condition. The good news is it's not unique...the bad news is it might be contagious...

On the other hand, I figure if I drop BE once the cloning fixes come in and pick up Squad Leader instead, I'll still have the right to whine that my professions are utterly busted...

Pet Stims fly off the bazaar in any major town. I'll drop them twenty at a time in Coronet (these are crappy Stim As, fromd some grinding materials, mind) at like, 200 a pop, and I have to restock ever two or three days. Some I sell for more, depending on where I stick them and so on. Good money in it.

I'm constantly getting requests for tissues i can't really do yet, but as soon as I can, some people I know want some of the higher-level stuff that doesn't take milk.

I made a lot of money off mountables the first week of the patch, and i still get occassional requests. I charge 30K for the trouble of collecting DNA and whatnot. Business si good.

Tal's got a good point in there. I wear a *Novice* BE tag, and sometimes I can't move away from the front of Coronet starport for three hours, with all the people clamoring for my attention. Some want mounts, some want stims. Occassionally someone wants a tissue. I have a couple MCHs that are offering me 500K+ for a Taming tissue if I ever find any milk, because the tissues are oh-so rare and extremely useful.

The money's there. In abundance. You just have to know where to set up and sell. i don't have a vendor, nor do i shout (a practice I really dislike). But I make good money.
