I'm very suspicious that this isn't filling more than one spot for each DNA (i.e. I don't think you can get one DNA for more than one profile spot). I tried this with only 1 DNA template in my inventory. I was able to double-click fast enough to get 3 or 4 profile spots spinning (like it was going to filled) but after the "Internal server error: invalid ingredient." error message the Item Assembly screen always showed just one profile spot filled with just the one DNA that I had.

I recreated this as well. Collected 25 samples to make 5 trash Rancors for sampeling. Many fast clicks later .......... 9 rancors in my inventory.

Will also be reporting it as a bug later today.

doesn't work for me, the people it works for you on dial-up?

Thinking this might be more a lag issue affecting the database.

I discovered this last night. I'm on dial-up, and it only works while the dna sample is 'loading' into the slot. I was hoping nobody would report it until I'd hit master at least

Someone is reporting a repeatable EXPLOIT and you get pissed? Say what you want about our class, and how broken it is, it doesn't mean that is makes it ok to cheat. And thats what this is cheating pure and simple.

Fueling the fire a bit more. It would appear lag plays a large part of whether or not you are able to reproduce this exploit or not. I was able to make a torton using one DNA sample total. I had 3 in my inventory to start with and had 2 at the end. After doing this once while no one was in my immeadiate vacinity I was unable to reproduce it again. I have "/bug"ed this as well, after collecting enough info to let the devs be able to trace it better. (I had 5 total attempts 2 worked, 3 didn't, and only 1 actual combine.)

So doing this while burst running through a crowded town with all your settings high should work well. Artificial latency?

Yes it's obviously an exploit, it's been around since they fixed the zoneline bug duplicating exploits.

Before you could use 50+ DNA samples, burst run over a zone line, and poof they all reapeared again and useable. (This also caused Perma Burstrun.The servers update each other faster however they do now. This was a side effect of that fix, or seems to be at least. You are still Duping items the same way, I suspect that location has a factor on people trying to duplicate this behaviour.

A few weeks ago it was in the patch message. Fixed duplication of items when crossing a zone line (especially DNA samples)

I'm on cable, but its been laggy lately. Not sure if my shop is on a zoneline or not, but maybe that would explain some strange results I get with certain schematics.

If this does work and it gets nerfed we should all thank Sumorex, Like a little school boy who finds out something another student is doing and runs and tells the teacher....

A Cheat no, This is something that helps the BE's survive in this world we call starwars, Okay you use one Dna sample to make templat, you can but it on the market or make a creature and put that on the market, now joeblow comes along and buys what you have on the market and you make money and he could to, so you are helping out the ecomony in swg, to get anywhere in this game you need $$$$$$$$$.But onenerf leads to somethingelse you can do and Ihope I find it cause this boy is keeping his mouth shut
