chek out just southeast of the northern plains (big brown spot at top), I find them around every once in a while. I'm convinced they are the hardest animals to find. Or find a ranger and have him track one if they can

The last gurreck baby I saw was just outside of the Smuggler's Outpost on Endor. This was after the new gurreck varieties had been introduced. However, I hunted for a couple of days before I saw that one and I haven't seen one since. The other gurreck varieties seem to be the common spawn. It might be worth attempting to get Challenge Level 50 missions to see if you can mission them. (CL50 missions require the CL of the group members add up to 100 btw, including pets that are grouped.) If they can't be missioned, then be prepared for a hunt that may require a great deal of patience since it may take days to accomplish. Best of luck to you.
