Thread: best non ch pet?
I.e. Prepatch it would have been rock beetle, some people maybe had a thing for mountain krevel.
Now that things have changed and bio's are all crazy whats the most uber? Fill me in!
=-)
Best Non-CH pet to get for tanking purposes/sacrificial lambis a Probot with Level 6 Armor (Medium Armor and 40% resists to all)
The only downside is that you can't heal/repair it (for now) while it is out of the pad. A work around is to get 2 and cycle them asone gets damaged and letthe damaged oneregenin the datapad. And bring batteries!
ZuL'ri, Gorath galaxy
The best non-ch pet is whatever pet you think is cute and want to name something silly to do tricks to amaze and impress because non-ch pets now are completely useless as tanks (well not completely I'm sure you could use them to tank against almost anything if you were a commando/doctor...buffed pet + 1 shot kills).
BE made pets can be OK, nothing wild is going to be worth it though...armor is out of the question, HAM can get all the way up into the high 2000 to low 3000 range, kinetic resists of maybe 10-20%, little or no special attacks, and odds are the damage will be about 30-40.
If you want something to tank make friends with a brawler or buy a few probots.
Non-ch natural pets are about as effective as trying to train a terrier to tank for you.
Depends what you are using it for.
The plodding falumpaset and carrion spat have the best HAM. The slice hounds have the best damage; female forest slice hound is best. Overall, the spat may win because it's ham is 1100 vs 750 for the hound, damage for the spat tops at 110 and the hound is 130. The spat can also serve as a mount as well.
