Someone who buys meat knows exactly what it cost them, someone who hunts their own has to do more work. You spend moiney on shuttles (maybe), buffs, stims, food, drinks, vehicle repair and finally, your time is worth something.

Yes, that will work. The key is to put your generic organic in place first. If you mistakenly double click on your meat first, it will fill the generic organic slot and you will have quite a costly schematic.

Not meaning to poke my nose into your schematic, but your flowers must be extremely good to be your best flora food. Since flowers are capped at 700PE, you would likely be better off looking for a high quality berry, fruit, fungus, tuber, greens, or beans. All of the above will work in your flora food slot and are not capped on any of the 3 relevant stats.

You might also want to look into a high OQ wood for the generic organic slot. It makes the other resources go a lot further, and I find that high OQ wood spawns much more frequently than other floras with high OQ/PE/FL.

The only reason to use non-wood florals in the generic slot is covering up for a weakness in your meat. if your meat has a low flavor, you can use something in the generic slot to try to pull the numbers up a bit. Sometimes this helps, but sometimes it just doesn't help enough. Also, using the tissue calc by Lantyssa helps a lot too:
