If you want to be the best harvester you can take Ranger 0040 (as you said). Put the rest of your points into any combat profession you wish. From my experiences, Master Rifleman is a good choice, and you might pick um some BH skills as they are pretty powerful and you already have the prereqs covered if you are a rifleman and a Ranger.

If you were looking to pick up 3 trees in CH, I would recommend Training, Taming and Management. Empathy gives only a few useful skills/Abilities, where the other 3 you really can't live without (taming Agressives, Lots of pets in your Datapad and Multiple Pets)

This would let you Control 2 Pets, Up to 48 Levels of Creatures, and Train almost every skill except the Tricks. Plus you can make some cash training mounts for the Non CH's.

Well its getting to the point of no respec and i really cant find any profession i like to go with rifleman. I like soloing but i dont like being a stacker. Iwant to have a job to do you know? ( p.s. i dont like bh much)

I was thinkin Ranger would be cool, but then again ranger doesn't really do much.

what do u guys think?

Ranger is fun

SL is fun (group with your droid if you have to)

CH is fun

try any of them - you may find the nonstacking solo template you like.

IMO, you have to stack to be effiecient.

I too would LOVE to go Master Ranger, so badly I would. But the fact it requires Master Scout makes it hard to work around. You can not get anything other than MR if you get master ranger and as I said, I don't think RM alone is good enough.

But there are alot of others who have found enjoyment in Rifleman and Ranger, or even CH. Pre-CD, those were fun templates. Post-CD... I would say fun but definatly not as efficient.

You gotta go with what you best enjoy.

First of all, this site won't keep me bloody logged in

2ndly, I'm a respec, sounds like you are to. Seems to be some anger at respec MBHers, so I'll try and help you, although I've only killed 1 Jedi so far and almost had another one if it weren't for combat lag.

Depends what Jedi your picking on. I almost had a 110k I think one, but the combat lag kicked in so none of the toolbar moves were working, then they all tried to work at once.

Anyway. So your MRM. So yes, keep 64m away. I do Underhand shot as my first shot to knock them to the floor, followed with improved head shot and advanced critical shot, maybe torso shot, and then combos of those shots. If the Jedi is getting to close, I burst run. Oh my template is slightly different to.

MBH

MRM

Combat Medic 3000 (will be 4000)

It makes me last that bit longer but I haven't tested it much on Jedi as they seem to either be offline or mainly on Wookie World these days. I can't chance them there, I don't have Wookie World

Anyway, yeah so those shots I said seem to be quite powerful. Oh and duelest stance. A bloke I was practicing PvP with the other night said its what he was using to beat me, he said its now fixed. It will reflect any shot thats done to you. Now I don't know if that means any gun shot only or if it means it will reflect saber throws to or not.

Also, note, I found out that the Jedi doesn't know your there for them. I use to think that a mark comes up on the radar or it tells them when your within range but it doesn't. So now I'm sly.

The Jedi I killed I came across in the field while searching for him. He asked if I'd seen any BHers about (I don't have anything under my name related to the BHer profession, it gives you away). I thought he was taking the piss. I chatted to him another BHer came up from behind and started to shoot him. I'd hunted him for around an hour so didn't want to lose my killed, so starting firing to, we knocked him down, but I rushed in first and DBed him. Didn't want my mark lost.

Another Jedi was in the Village so I went there, pretending I was for the respawning gangs. When they appeared I kept out the way, waited till the Jedi was fighting them, then started shooting him.

The best one yet, where the combat lagged ruined my fight, was also in the field. Found my mark in a hunting group. He saw me coming and didn't trust me so was scooting around on his bike, so I put my gun away (its in the tool bar for quick access). Then I used my Combat Med skills to pretend I was just helping out healing the group. While I was doing this the kinddoctor there buffed me classic. Eventually the Jedifelt he could trust me, so got off his bike. I waited. As soon as he started fighting the creatures they were hunting, I opened fire . Got him down to a small bit of bar, almost incapped, but as I said, the combat lag kicked in, he got up, healed himself and from then on I was buggered but was still fun.

So you could be sly. Take the MBHer out of your ID name, if you have it, mine either says nothing or Pilot (but thats 'cause I'm also going for my pilot wings ) Find your mark. If he's in a hunting group, pretend your there for the group. I don't think being in the group would be good, not sure, it actually might give everyone a TEF or it might make it so they can all shoot the Jedi to, never tried it. Just say your passing through or there to watch. I can use my CM skills to pretend I'm there to help heal. When your mark feels comfortable your not there to wack him, then take your first shot. Seen as you have root, that might be a good one to pick.

Hope that helps.
