you have one trainer that is just for you, you should of got the wp to it when you got a jedi, but you can also use /myjeditrainer ...or something like that to find him use // it should be on the list

If I start to get some of my POIs before I hit a master profession, will that affect getting my glowy? Will I have to start over again?

No. Badges are badges no matter when you get them. Once you get them they are on there for good no matter the order

Just made paddy last night.....
How do I find out who my NPC trainer is? Will I find out when I get enough xp for my first novice box?
(Been reading the FAQs and can't find any answer)
Thanks..

Use the /findmytrainer command (I think thats correct ask a csr in chat), then look in your datapad.

Apologies in hijacking the thread, but I wonder if its possible to change your trainer location? I fear its not, but thought I would ask nonetheless.

A csr can do it technically... but there needs to a game breaking reason why.... and no because theirs oposite faction npc patrolling the area of your trainer doesn't count, you have the option to go on leave, and tbh is recommended for any new jedi (or any jedi who is still training), less likely to get attention from oposite faction npc's.

Being new to artisan type professions in general I was curious about something.
Do most successful armorsmiths go ahead and grind out Master Artisan and if not what do they grind out and what do they not worry about?

as far as I can see the only reason to grind master artisan when adding it to armoursmith is for the PSG components.
Personally I'm MAS, master artisan, master merchant and tailor (at least x3xx)
that way as an armoursmith I can make evrything I will ever need for my armours.

Well, of course, you'll need engineering IV.
If you want to pick up tailor0300 at least, then you'll need all of domestic arts.
If you want to do any merchant, you'll need business IV.
And, unless you're going to rely on others to find your resources, you might as well get surveying IV.
With all that, you might as well pick up Master Artisan until you need those 6 skill points for something else.
