Thread: FAQ
I have today had some success at last!! I can tame Baby versions of: Ikopi, Nuna and Gnorts although they still say Tamable: No in their description lol.
I have also got better at FINDING baby versions abd have resorted to taking easy Nuna destroy missions and seeing what is there when I get to the lair. If it is adults, I kill them all then whack the lair a few times to see what spawns. I found that moving away from the lair and coming back made no difference to the type of creature that were there.
What stuff are you giving rid of dyarab ?

My pets say 0(5) in my datapad & aren't growing - but when I call them to heal them, it says they're healed. How can I get them back from 0 to 1 please?
Sorry if this is answered, I just trawled thro a lot of 'what can a wookie call...' but didn't see it!
A Grand Wrix baby is a lvl 25 pet now after the patch. Same as a GSP (Greater Sludge Panther). Before the patch, the GSPcould be called at 1/1/0/0, but not anymore.
Check your max lvl of pets mod and see where you currently stand. You will not be able to tame or call anything higher than that mod until you gain more CH skills.
A good resource for checking where the creatures are now in terms of levels and abilities is SWG Creatures - http://www.swgcreatures.com- most of the creatures both tameable and non-tamable have been updated with new information after the last patch.
Good luck to you -
Things I wish I had known as a noob CH
1. You can only tame animals with "(baby)" in the name. (already noted in the FAQ but worth repeating.
2. You may not tame it the first try. If it says you failed (but does not say "you can't tame that") then keep trying. Sometimes it takes lots of tries - most tries I've had is 6.
3. If you find a nest with a something(baby) in it tame it and then hang around. Sometimes a new one will spawn.
4. If you find a nest with creatures that you know do have babies kill off a few adults (assuming they don't swarm - like wrix) and see if a baby spawns.
5. In order to build XP taming and training is good. As a beginner you get about 100 xp per tame and 100 xp per trick for a total of 400 xp per new creature. It is possible to get XP by using the animal in a fight. The key to this is keeping the baby from getting killed. I pick a weak wild animal, pick a fight with my weakest weapon, and when the target is fully engaging me I command my pet to attack. The trick is to make sure the target does not switch from attacking me to attacking the pet. Most of the time if I have the target fully engaged they don't switch but keep an eye on the pet. If the target attacks the pet switch I switch to my best weapon and kill it fast.
That's my brain dump.
I'm still looking for more ways to gain XP with my pets and tips are apprieciated.
