I looked through the stickies, and unless I missed something, which I probally did, is there a post that tells:
1. What resources are needed for Armorsmith
2. How much each Layer/Core/etc take?
Thanks!
Oh ya, the stickies make mention of an Armorsmith website.... whats the url?

Yeah, you missed it. But at least you looked, so you get points.
It's the Complete CU Schematics list in the FAQs.

Look for a thread in the FAQ and guides sticky called PostCU armor schematics, all the resources are listed there with quantities for each item

Or they just have learned that if they act like they have read them people will not just throw stickies at them.

I've got a free resource crate and i was going to use it on Naboo Bristley Hide so I can make some good Battle armor. I'm just not sure which one is the best on my server - Tempest. If any Tempest AS could let me know which one they think has been the best on server, please let me know. Thanks.

The best place to check is to head on over to SWGCraft and click on the find resources link on the left. Then, select the resource type (naboo bristley in your case), your server, and put 50 in both the OQ box and the SR box (that means 50%...so 50% in each of those 2 boxes)
After it brings up the list of all the resources...sort it by the rating on the far right...that's the rating you get when you combine that 50% OQ and 50% SR you put in the system. The highest one is the best.
If that was totally confusing, I'm sorry. I have a cold, so I'm not thinking as clearly.
