Thread: Armor Question
Theoden,
Does that mean that until you get an elite profession (Carbineer, Bounty Hunter or whatever) that you can't wear armour?!??!
Kind of annoying, I'm getting missions to kill creatures that are hitting me for 150+ and all I can do to them is about 60, I spend ever fight spamming the bacta key! Weapon upgrades look like they may boost my damage by around 10 (I'm currenty level 10) so that isn't going to help at all.
Any help you can give or advise would be very appreciated.

Nope sorry hun. no armor till you get an elite proffession. Group for better survivability. They are kinda forcing the newer players into that. Hunt lower level mobs till then and as soon as you can upgrade to a new gun. Every little bit helps. Also..don't stand a fight if you are alone, Run your tushy off so you are alittle harder to hit.

Nisaki,
Depressing news, weird too that there's such a huge amount of grinding to do before you can get some armour.
Guess I'll have to keep smashing that Bacta shot key until I reach my Elite - not that I even know what I want to be yet!! ![]()
Thanks for the advise though, much appreciated.

Reconaissance - BioEngineer, Pistoler, Rifleman, Smuggler
A less spendy and equally stylish alternative is a marauder suit with a RIS helmet. ADK the helmet if you can, and replace the marauder parts as needed for much less money. You can probably find an AS willing to trade you a few headless suits of marauder built to your specifications for a good chunk of hide.

That's EXACTLY what my Ranger wears most of the time. The marauder helmet is just plain ugly... looks like a lobster tail slapped on top of your head. ![]()
My other option... is a Rebel Battle Helm, with matching colors on the Marauder armor.... goes really well together.
