These always have been the most common ways to grind. Even pre-cu some required sub components.
Armor Upgrade Kits (Novice Armorsmith), Mabari Chest Plates (Novice Armorsmith), Mk1 Personal Shield Generators and their subcomponents (PSG 1 and 2) and Ubese Shirts (Personal Armor 3). Mass producing each of these has its own advantages and difficulties (AUK's only give 60xp, but only take 2 resources while Mabari Chest Plates give around 500 xp, but require subcomponents and hides, which can be difficult to come by in sufficient quantities to grind with).
However i have not teseted what kind of xp you get for making cores, maybe somebody vcan chime in on that.

dont get pikets AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! i was ina grp of 8 guys all cl80 cept for me i was cl 72 one guy shot in the middle of about 30 pikets killed us all in about 20 seconds stick to bols and thunes

Get a good stun baton and find some factional npc's in a base. Run around Dizzying & Blinding everything till dead. Should take3.5 hours total with a good baton and you'll have enough faction for an atst if you're imperial.
Heh, j.k. That's how I mastered fencer last. The fencer forum = fun eh?

Hehe if you want creautres who don't agro when you shoot them get Grizzled/Mountain/Normal Dewbacks on Tatooine level 80+ they won't agro if you just attack one of the creatures.

Armor segments give only 36xp, but cores (all varieties) give 140 xp. These are the best way to get to 3xxx so you can crank out those ubese shirts until master. I made a factory run of 840 segments and used these to grind the cores. 840 should be the most you need. Good luck!

I too am grinding armorsmith on my alt atm. I'm pretty impatient when it comes to grinding, so im just forking out quite a bit of cash and going the mabari chestplate route. This is gonna be my second time grinding to master, but first time since CU. The first time i did chestplates it took me about 5 days to grind to master. Well good luck with your grind.

sup people. does anyone know of a cu macro for grinding AS? this is the second time grinding AS,first time during cu. if anyone knows of a site or can help me out..would be awesome.

It's also worth it to fly duty missions, I'm 4/3/3/3 RSF and usually start with one of those. Kessel seems a bit sparse when you can't hit Imp ships, it would be a nice lace if I were CorSec or SA (blow up one side of a dogfight, then the other).

duty missions are best... you don't waste so much time looking for spawns (especially in kessel)

Im privateer and i hate duty missions for tier 4 the only worthwhile one was destroy the impereals which were all agresors (GOD DAM REAR GUNNERS) i would recommend kayshyyk space station there are often people hunting Mercenarie freighters as there escort have no weapons and there is a sweet spot on the freighter just behind it where none of its guns cant hit you
Start by following it then when close start blasting away should give about 5k XP then go for escort again bout 5k i have gotten all of my skill box 4s through this method is great for money too

honestly your better off finding your favorite that suits you but good spots are kessel(tier 5), endor near red sin chimera(tier 3-4 spawns), dathomir as a whole(tier 3-5 prodominantly 4)and alot of spots in kashyyyk system
