I have noticed if anything a decline in the useage of rancor tooth swords since the appearance of the scythe blades, they beat the 2h Curved swords on all aspects but price.

Rancor teeth are pretty bad in general (<100 gets junked for me)but I have some 269 exceptional ones which are quite good I made a 2 hand sword that got a damage slice and was 605 ish damage!!! Min damage was low butstill!

Do any WS's use rancor teeth or are they just trash to be thrown away?

Depends on the stats.


For the most part, if the max damage on the tooth is below 70, it's not really worth your while.




Talk to some weaponsmiths on your server. They'll have their own 'tolerances' for that.

Base rancor teeth are useless, they have 5/50 damage and increase the speed by 1, Adv Sword cores are around 40/40 and decrease by -0.5, (approx from memory). Though some (Exceptional) teeth make sweet 2h curved swords

Unless you have a really nice rancor tooth you will get:


slower speed

lower min damage

a little higher max damage


They are good for fencers who are close to speed cap and 2handed curved swords can be nice but these are for good rancor teeth.

As a MWS, I usually only accepot ones wth around 100-110max dmg at a minimum... best ive ever had was 170, which I bought off bazaar for 6k a pop. I went through a LOT of rancor teeth, but i bought them all off the bazaar.

i have 7 rancor teeth that are 5min-154max dmg what weapons can these be used in?and are these good teeth?

nice max... bad min... but they would make nice swords. They arereally good considering rancor teeth are usually always crappy.
