looted (9) min/max 7/181 0.9xx rancor teeth tonight. what would these be worth? also how many swords can i make from 9 of them?

I use the Rancor Teeth to make weapons for new folks and grinders, and sell them on the bazzar. Gives 'em good damage but slow speed. I sell them low enough that if they buy a bunch, they might get a decent speed slice on one. The 5-50s are the lowest level teeth I've seen. Don't like to use my good crafted sword cores on a weapon that'll grind out a prof and get thrown away the next day when he becomes a hairdresser.

Hi.
I looted some Rancor teeth and was told that they are used by WS.
My question is what are they used for and how rare are they?
I know that the bile is used to make poison and that the armor segments are used by AS. But i'm not sure about the teeth.

you can make weapons with them. Swords and melee weapons. I have a rancor tooth 2 handed sword. They a hard to find but not rare.
the sword I spoke of is pretty sweet.

And most of the time base teeth (50 max damage) are pretty worthless as most of us can hit 40/40 on our sword cores. most Rancor teeth are like 5/50, so having that low min damage makes a weapon terrible.
I have some 140 max damage rancor teeth though, so not all are trash.

I made a Bile Soaked Rancor Tooth Enhanced Two Handed Curved Sword here recently (used one of the teeth I got from Jabbas Theme Park). I can't remember the exact stats (and servers are down right now), but it seems that I remember the min damage was a good bit lower than just using advanced sword cores, max damage was significantly higher than a regular one made with an advanced sword core. The only problem...speed. The Rancor Tooth enhanced sword was .9 speed slower than the one made with the advanced sword core. And, when you are grinding, thru 2 handed in the bralwer three, having a slow speed weapon = bad.
Now, once my alt hits master swordsman, I might just pull that rancor tooth enhanced weapon back out and just see what it can do with all of my speed modifiers. But, for a grinder,I wouldn't recommend using rancor teeth in weapons.

The rancor tooth is a direct replacement for the sword core.
However, the penalties in speed and HAM usually require them to be over 100 damage to even be considered.

I like using teeth that have max of at least 80, with wounds over 24. They make for uber PVP weapons, almost as good as a disease DOT when you can get a 65% wound on a cleaver
