Whats the best item to grind as Novice AS?

Ok have my macro set to grind out the assualt armor cores.When i use it however i dotn get xp. I do get xp (147) when i do them without the macro. Is this how its supposed to work or am I bugged?

if u are next to a crafting station you will need to enter another line on macro

so if u got macro with

/next;

/next; (some times next craftingstage) but doesend mater

u need to ad another /next; to each part

if u get what i mean
