You have 2 options, not yet a third.

1 ask nicely and try to coax the person to leave because he just isn't really portraying the town in a good light.

2 increase property tax to the max and reimburse everybody but him, and ban him from city structures more or less simply saying you're not welcome here no more.

Hello, I am a new master combat medic (i did nothing with CM till i hit master). I was wondering how your end range of a stim/poison is calculated. Is it just your range modifier plus the poisons range?

Also, I was wondering how poison ticks are calculated.

THanks.

Basically at Master your range and effectiveness are doubled on offensive medicine. They recently put in a cap on our ranged and AE stims to 48m max.

I thought the cap was 48m on the experiment range rating of the stim and 64m on the final range (with mod factored in). Did I read the patch notes wrong?

There are two caps:
One cap is on the poison delve - 48m (means you can't make poison with range higher then 48).
Then CM applies it's range bonus (master CM is double) so in you could've throw it 96m if not for the second cap (which currently not working properly), Second cap is how far you can throw and should be 64.
So when second cap is fixed - as master CM you don't need to make poisons with range more then 32 (since it will be at your throw cap).

Ok, I just became Novice CH and I'm loving it...although after reading through all the faq's..i still have not seen one thing....How do I name my pet? Do I need to have a certain level in CH to name it? Is there a command not in the training menu?

Any help is appreciated!

you need to teach you pet 4 commands with the [name] then the [command]...

So you need what ever level(s) gives you 4 commands

Ok, so I've got my slitherhorn, I know my one song, and I want to start making a few bucks. So I go to an entertainer mission terminal and I click on the Music tab. I pick a mission and look at the details. Only, in the details it lists the mission type as Dancer. Ok, I try selecting another mission. Same thing. Turns out all the missions list the type as Dance when you check their details whether they came from the Dance or the Music tab.

So I'm thinking it's just a little glitch with the label. I select a mission from the Musician tab and read the description. The description sounds like a Music mission, something along the lines of "I need someone to play music for my event. Please go to this venue and play me some music". So I buy a shuttle ticket and go there. The waypoint is at the door of a hotel. I go inside, find a small stage and start playing music there.

I played and played and played, but never completed the mission. I did flourishes all the time. Nothing. So I'm thinking maybe it is a dancer mission after all. I want this character to be a musician, not a dancer, but I figure heck, if dancinc will earn the bucks to cover the shuttle trip, I'll do it. So I danced and danced and danced with flourishes aplenty, but the mission never completed.

So what am I doing wrong? How on earth do you do entertainer missions? I was figuring that the entertainer missions would be a nice way for a beginning musician to make some money (since nobody in the universe tips). Are they completely broken? Or is there a way to complete them?

Thank you for replying. The method you describe is a good way to grind some entertainer missions. But it doesn't really address the glitchy weirdness that I was experiencing. I think things have changed since you wrote that guide.

As it is all the missions seem to come up as dancer missions whether you got them from the dancer or musician tab. Then they never seem to complete.

Has any one successfully done a musician mission lately? Are they just bugged? Should I stop trying to do them? If you managed to make them work please share how you did it.

Thanks in advance from one frustrated newbie.

I just took two gig missions from the terminal in my player city, and got them for our local cantina. Took quite a few refreshes, but eventually I got a pair. Yes, they say Type: Dancer even if you pull them off the Musician tab. (Had to delete the first mission I got, 'cause I forgot. I tend to.)

I went to the cantina. Played with no flourishes for 10 minutes straight. Both missions paid off.

You can't stop. That's all I can think of to tell you. For absolutely NO reason whatsoever can you stop playing. So you either can't flourish yourself silly, or you have to be buffed or have food/drink/spice to compensate for flourishes, if your innate quickness and stamina aren't high enough for you to play non-stop.
