Thread: Price guide for All BE items
It varies from person to person, especially pet prices
Economies also vary a great deal - some servers were affected by methods of generating fast cash both legal and illegal. If you have a lot of money chasing limited goods prices rise
So look at your competitors, including the Bazaar
Then consider the following factors:
- cost to make something. If a product uses 100 resources that cost 3 cpu each and takes 3 minutes per item then you should either charge 300c + what you think your time is worth as minumum or you should stop making it from a strictly business sense
- overheads. House maintenance, factory maintenance, vendor maintenance.
- investment. You spent either a lot of time and a lot of money getting your skills to master. You should be making a profit
- demand. Some items, such a BSNs for Brandy are highly sought after and people are willing to pay a lot more than they would pay for items with a similar difficulty to make, or even items which are harder/more expensive to make
- deals. You are dependent on rangers and scouts for a supply of meat and on tailors and chefs to turn your tissues into product. You are dependent on doctors for advanced stim components. While you can keep these arrangements to simple monetary transactions most people negotiate at least some element of favour for a favour
- friendships/guild ties. If you want to give your mates free/cheap stuff you should adjust prices for everyone else up a bit
Some things to think about. I start from a figure of 20 cpu for Master level products and 10 cpu for sub-Master level products although that has the effect of cutting me out of some of the very high quality very expensive resources. Personally I'm happy to not buy the 50 cpu meat for most items and be a couple of points lower and a bit cheaper than the BE in the next town.
Good luck and grats on reaching Master ![]()

if you do "For pet stims, i do (power * charges) / 10"
then you have no use to produce pet stim C as they cost far more than stim B and only 30-40% heal bonus.
Well anyway, pet stim are not worth the time to produce it, as most people ( on my server ) are now getting pharma IV to use doc stim D and able to use for 1200-2000 for a stim that cost only 1200 crd.
And the bonus for healing mind with pets stim is void as u can do tricks to get it up.

After taking MCH and MBE I don't have the points to take doc, or even go much up the medic line if I want to have any sort of comabt skills, so alternating between doc stim/pet stim works just as well for me.
If I was going to go more "medical", I'd probably drop CH/Pistol and go TKM instead (it's a lot cheaper SP wise andway more effective in a fight).

i dont see the point to use pet stim to help on healing when u can use doc stim with a refresh timer of 3 sec, u can heal 4 time with doc stim and one time with pets stim and heal for less.
And up to now all my pets didnt suffer more than 30% mind lost after a fight, well i didnttryed NS elder yet.
Yes and no. You can't do tricks during combat and you can use pet stims on a different timer to doc stims, so they are still worth while in my book...

I always stock good B and Cs, but my pricing is different.
B: Power*Charges*0.1
This is the "normal" formula that many uses.
C: Power*Charges*0.15
This is the "normal" with an added 50% cost.
For tissues, I just take the total number of resources required, and multiply by what I think I can get for them on the bazaar.
This usually works out to about 20-25 credits per unit of resources... which would make BSN cost 1600-2000 each (or 40k-50k per crate). Granted, the meat component is worth more on the bazaar than the floral, but my formula is VERY easy for figuring out prices quickly. Additionally, depending on the resource, I could probably even get more than 20-25 cpu on the bazaar.
...And to be honest,if selling the resources on the bazaar is making me the exact same amount of money as the tissues would, then why bother making the tissues; I need at least alittle extra profit for the extra work.
Ok, pet stims are basically taken care of, thanks for the information (guide lines)
Now about clothing, and food. I know about supply and demand, but I am looking for general guidelines, I know that BSN is currently worth more than another item with the same difficulty to make. But when someone wants product x, I would like to be able to have a quick guide to atleast see what its worth to me. And see if its worth the time/effort.
Thanks again for the great advice, lets keep it coming.
As for BE calc 2.0 I cant wait!!!! is it done yet???
