ok i tried this once before and it got burried kinda fast, and i never really got what i was looking for. So i will try this one more time. I never have been much of a crafter, to boring for me, but on my other act. i am a MCH. I love nothing more than running into a pack of red MOB's to taim a baby. Well many friends told me to go for BE, as DNA sampling can basicly be the same rush. So, got a second account and am now TKM and MBE. Now to my question, i know alot of ppl out there dont care fot the fighting and/or dont have the skill to get out and get the high lvl dna from MR, FG or other higher lvl mobs. So, i have been slowly building a stocl of DNA and plan to put together a vender for BE's (dna, fungus, fiber, insect meat...ect.) Now my biggest thing is what would you people buy and more important WHAT WOULD YOU PAY. I have no clue what to charge. I am thinking about seeling dna in packs of 5 (so to make a complete temp). So if you could give me some feedback as to what you would be interested in, what you would pay for the different qualitys, would you rather buy a pack of 5 or just singles?

People wouldn't generally buy templates unless they felt they didnt understand the system well enough to pull something like that off themselves. As for the DNA I'd say since anyone with maskscent can get samples from CL50 species with the minimum of hassle your better off focusing on the higher stuff. Say maybe 3000c for CL60+ samples. If you wanted try around 1000c for everything else from CL60 to CL30.

I'd pay well for VHQ samples from high level mobs like mutant rancors and such.
I'd even pay well for bulk samples from webmasters, arachne warriorsand mantigrue reapers. They combine to make a nice mid level iron clad with strong poison.
The price is relative to the economy of your server. What I might think is a lot of credits may be cheap on other servers or vise versa.

If there were people on Naritus selling DNA bundles (mebbe there are, I dunno =P) I would buy a few. I love going out and getting my own samples, but sometimes I just wanna craft creatures, without taking the time to get samples. I'm not really sure what I would pay though. That's more of a question of what your server economy is.

I'd pay at least 25k for mutant rancor dna, but then I charge a lot for lvl 70 pets

While I agree with Tal-N about the unlikely hood of selling templates, after all making them is the heart of the cloning process, I do think you could do well selling DNA samples. I think you could sell them at prices a fair amount higher than Tal-N is quoting. A lot of that will depend onyour server. Getting the DNA you want is frequently time consuming, wearing on clothing, and the travel and insurance expenses do add up. As a result I think there are 2 markets for DNA. The first is people who like the lab side and dislike the harvesting entirely. The second are the people who only want to bother gathering from 1 or 2 planets and would like to be able to buy the other samples they want. My best guess on a pricing chart would be :-
Average Quality = 1
Above Average Qality = 2
High Quality = 3
Very High Quality = 4
Price = quality * CL * 80;
So a very high quality mutant DNA sample would run 24K. An above average sample would run about 12K. A very high quality arachne webmaster sample would run about 16K. An above average sample would run about 8K.
