Hi all I am sorry I was not ableto let you all know I was leaving(due to my medical condition) I was in the hospital on chemo for the last few months off and on and really could not communicate to you all nor get my(computer illit) family to send some emails out to you all.

Anyways I see the profession is moving in a good direction I only wish I was able to stick around longer and get more things done for you all.

Once again thanks for being such great people to work with and I tried my best while not to some of your likings to get the class moving in the right direction.

I am now back playing the game fulltime again and I am in remission. for hte long haul it looks like though that chemo about killed me I think but I am well enough and recovering weekly enough to play.

I think playing this or getting back to playing this was one of many things that kept me not wanting to kick the bucket so to speak at my age.

Regards,

Wow, I don't know what to say other than we appreciate the time and effort you spent on the behalf of our beloved profession. I think I can speak for the community when I offer our collective thanks, apology for being a bit mean about your leaving, and our general congratulations on your remission

thanks, and I never read any of the responses though from your response I think it is best I did not. After all my health is more important then a game and I would have if I could have logged on from the hospital but being on that basically poison for so long makes it hard to and I felt that I needed to concentrate on my health so I could eventually get back to the game and my normal life.

Again thank you.

Good to hear from you again Wayubb.

My wife works with cancer patients and from what she tells methere are those who get pissed at their situation and make their lives and the lives of everyone around them miserable. Then there are the people who stay optimistic and look at life in a wonderful new light...each day is a blessing. Glad to hear you're the latter and not the former.

Hope you keep improving and stay well.

No need to apologise for anything, your condition is far far more important than a few impatiant whines on this forum. Great to hear you are in remission and all my best wishes for your continued recovery.

Looks like you are getting back to playing at a very exciting time for BE, so I'm sure you are going to be having a blast playing again With no disrespect to Talthazar (who is doing a great job) and his work of late, I find it hard to believe that we would be in this situation, getting a complete new, in depth, working system, without your hard work back at the start. Looking at the state of some professions, its obvious that a good correspondent is worth his weight in gold

Hope you're in full remission Wayub and keep a clean bill of health for a long time to come. Keep your humor up There is some deep profound truth to "Laughteris the best medicine", as it kept me alive many years ago when I was stuck in the hospital for months (no not cancer, /shudder). You're making it back at a good time, it seems, as the new cloning system should be live soon and we get to rant and rave over the workings of it a la the original cloning system be barshed our heads over after release.... and this one looks even more complicated / undocumented.
