But for some reason it seems to be becoming even more of an issue today. Perhaps it is because the price of brandy has fallen quite a bit and chefs are looking for new ways to save credits (or should I say make more credits). In any case, it's almost a nightly occurance now that I'm asked for a schematic, and my reply is always the same: "I don't do that, if you need tissues I sell them at pretty reasonable prices but I'm not going to cut my own throat by selling, much less giving away schematics".

i do not have to justify my self to any one. If you dont like it and are on intrepid, feel free to flame there /\. If your not on intrepid it dosent really concern you.

oh yea dont feel bad, i did this when the bradny wasent in and my alt ws a 2 4 2 4 smuggler with muon schematics. AND I planned on staying smug lol

Actually you were the second BE to offer Schematics. You posted your reasons, there are others that are doing the same. I am really trying to understand the logic.

I am a chef(well my alt is) and I have contracted to a Bio-Engineer to make a schematic for me. I collected all the resources and will pay them around 3-400K for this service.

Not to dis him, cause Nolof is cool, but he does a lot of business, and buys a TON of the enhancements, which doesn't leave much left for the rest of us.

If a Bio wants to sell to me, I am more than willing to pay, but it seems the schematics are the only option I have right now.

And for prices, I sell Bio Enhanced Brandy for 200K for a crate of 25, why? cause of resource costs, time componets, factories, and on and on..... will I lower prices with a schematic, probably. Is my brandy the best? NO, because I only have the 10 points you get with master chef and the best I can get is 401m/f/w for 41m30s fill 50, stack of 18.

I try, but I have seen weaker ones sold for more on intrepid so I think I am being fair.

master doctor, mainly keep it to buff my self, but its good for a quick buck. i will end up md / elite combat ( either sword or tk).

I am a chef, with a BE given access to my house. He uses my materials to make schematics, places them on MY factories, and then.. he kidnaps my pet cat (ali) and sends me a ransom note, normally for a million credits.

I laugh, and pay the fee. When he needs credits, he kidnaps my cat again. When he needs food, he helps himself.

Am I overpaying for the additives I use?

I really don't know the fair price for the schematic, I wish I knew more of the cost structure of the chef foods. If you are friends with the guy, or you dont mind doing it, because the chef is passing the savings on to the customer. I have not seen that, the chef charges the same price, and gets a nicer profit margin, and in turn cuts the BE out of the picture. I am not really worried, as the resources are the hard thing to gather. (meat) I don't know about you guys but I have a hard time competing with docs and armorsmiths for harvested resoruces and not get a earfull from a chef saying I am trying to gouge them. I offer 25 cpu for meat and not one person drops 1 unit off. Docs on eclipse are paying up to 200 cpu for meat.
