When we do get the Pet heal items, I am assuming that we will have to craft everything by hand since the Bio-Engineer class is not allowed to use schematics on machines?

I think the final item is only in the BE area the components to make it come from the Org Chem line

I've been working up the entertainment line and I was just curious how exactly you use the two high end instruments that act as physical objects? I'm in no rush but I can't find anything on it and I was curious.

Actually I was thinking more along the lines of how are they deployed, reclaimed, and is it possible for them to be stolen/lost

You use them from your inventory and they pop up in the world in front of you, so you can use them by targetting and selecting "Play Instrument". In some locaitons you can pick the instrument up, but i noticed that in most you cannot pick it up and just run away and it will disappear on its own. The instrument does not disappear from your inventory. The physical representation of the instrument is not actually there. It will stay in your inventory and it cannot be stolen. The nalargon and ommni box are largely negleted instruments as having them targetted the entire time is quite unpractical for any musician.

but a cool effect of the Nal: you can play it with more than
one musican at the same time... looks great
and you can move this instruments out of reach of the musician...
it then autostores... but please dont do this to afk hologrinders,
they would be not amused.

Actually, moving it away from a live musician is pretty annoying, although I've always had a pretty good attitude about it.
Personally, I think moving it away from an afk hologrinder would be hilarious, having them stand there for hours looking like idiots doing the nala flos with nothing in front of them. (Not that I can think of any reason for a hologrinder to be afk playing a nalargon other than to be a buffbot or to get healing xp for grinding dancer)

When I was doing my Musician time with a bunch of friends in Theed (way back when we were actually all at the keyboards!!) we used to "ride sidecar" on someone's Ommni all the time. At one point, we had 5 people using one person's Omnni! People would walk in and gawk silently for a few minutes before tentatively asking, "er, what are you all doing over there??"
Good times.

I haven't played much swg since it first came out so could someone fill me in about jedi?
1. How rare are they?
2. How much time would it take to become one?
3. Does the Jedi system give you any sort of feel that KOTOR gave.

1. Well there are lots, will more on teh way once the new round of village people get down with this phase.
2. Depends on how long it takes you to get to the village and then how much you are willing to play. Most likely if you didnt spend much time playing it will take you toolong.
3. Yes there are lots of Jedi, but most dont do very much for a variety of reasons.

So im sitting here bored reading the jedi forums and im wondering why all you non jedis come to this forum and flame so much. Every time theres a complaint about deaths or BHs, theres a big mouth little boy whos got to say "Jedi should have to go through the ringer, jedi should have to do this do that blah blah."
Let me say that yes i know its a game. It has to be fair. Risk vs reward yeah yeah the whole nine yards.
But i also have to say this: You non jedi cannot understand how bad it makes you made to get killed by a BH (once youre not a noob anymore anyway, i can see em killing an absolute noob). I mastered BH and 24 other professions to open my jedi.I don't care how much you flame, complain, whine, etc but it is freaking ridiculous that a toon that has put in 1/100th of the time i have can own me.Period.
And lets not go to the "boba fett almost killed luke arguement". Until i hear a BH admit that they should have a penalty I don't even want to argue (oh yeah baby Boba fett had a f'ing penalty, no matter how close minded you are its true: Death). He could freaking die just like the jedi. That is a risk. Bhs now get death but death in game doesnt meananything and jedis lose at least 4-5 hours of grinding at noob levels and many buff rounds of grinding at my level.
Ahh well thats just my two cents.
