I have heard the stories about milk.

We all know it is out there. The question is, how do we get it?

It is tough to see people selling things we can make for 200K+ each without being able to do it ourselves.

Could the people in the know please share with the rest of us?

The questions that I have are...

1) Has anyone personally foraged milk?

2) Has anyone personally medically foraged milk?

3) If you have personally looted milk, where did you loot it?

4) If you personally have the quantities of milk to make the CH enhancement, how did you get it?

5) Did you personally own or see one of the infamous temporary harvesters for milk?

6) Did you personally get told or figure out the exploit that lets people multiply resources?

Please don't post what you "heard" unless you state that you have not experienced it yourself.

Maybe we can all benefit from this information.

A guild mate gave me some. If my customers want tame tissues they have to bring me the milk. Some have actually done this.

I don't use exploits and I don't ask about them. I'm one of those stupid people that thought harvesting meat from sampled critters was one of those "its working as intended" deals.

I am not asking about an expoit on the SWG message board to figure out how to exploit the game. I am asking because it has been suggested before. I want to know if this exists or if people are getting the milk in a legit mannor and therefore maybe I can do what they do to find the milk as well.

Just wanted to clarify.

When your guild mate gave you some, how much did he give you and how did he get it?

Do you ever ask your customers where they get the milk when they bring it to you?

I have asked people that have the enhancements. They always respond that the milk was "given" to them by someone else. Anyone ever get a chance to ask an actual source?

I've never seen milk in the game. I've gone on "milk hunts" with combat members of my guild. We killed trillions of plasma thieves and found nothing. A guild mate found 3 milk on the bazaar and bought it for me. As I said before I've had creature handlers bring me milk in quantities large enough to make a tissue. I have no idea how long or where they got it. Its happened twice now.

Personally I think SOE decided thetaming tissues were a mistake and have no intention to change the ingredients needed to make them. Imagine what a master creature handler could do with +25 taming viscious animals.

I have personally made the Active Tranquilizers for people twice. Each time the customer supplied the milk and each time it was "given" to them by a "friend". The payment I asked for both was more milk...at least 25 units to make for another unit. Got it once and the other time was told that all he was given was 25 units.

The first tissue was made with "domestic milk" OQ in the 200s and he paid me in "talusian wild milk" OQ in the 800s. Why he gave me the low OQ for his item? I can only guess he had no idea what it meant. Came out +15/+15

The second tissue was made with the talusian wild milk(given to me by the buyer...I still have my 25 from the first guy). Came out +16/+16.

Both times with a droid crafting station.

I, personally, have never seen it as a drop, loot or forage item.

That is a good idea to charge milk for the combine. It is odd though that we all hear the same things. The "I got it from a friend" and no one actually gets if for themselves.

I am really interested in more stories like this though.

Here is the deal with my milk. I was able to buy about 100 units from someone but I have no clue where they got it.

I also heard rumor of debris on a nightsister battlefield on dath so I went there I looted and killed nihgtsisters for about two weeks and ended up with enough milk to make some flexform shirts.

I have personally never seen a plasma thief or a milk harvesters.

The guy I got the milk from regularly hunts for holos on dant so I would guess that high level mobs drop milk.

All of these are first hand experiences of how I got my taming shirt not stories or urban legend of any sort. I hope it helps.

a long time ago in a galaxy far far away

there i was (befire they nerfed the looting off npcs)we would get all kinds of cool stuff from plasmas thieves and plainsflok on nabll skill enhancments and such i used to get milk in units of 1about once ever 3 or 4 days i went one milk what the hell do i do with that and quikly destroyed it i mean hey ya gotta have a nice clean inv.

though i dont think that i ever had 25 units of it ever i maybeo found around 15 or so, but ever since they nerfed the loot i have seen 0 milk and 0 skill atachments i mean come on **edit** is up with that i kill people all the time sorta and no milk .

i talked to a high lvl ch friend of mine and hge said that he and his brother had been finding it on darthmire on dant i dont remeber which off some really really high lvl npc mobs that were preaty hard to kill but i dont know im still waiting to see milk from somewhere or someone.

this is a great post and a great idea lets keep this going to see if we can get some clear scince on where to find it now .

how does the idea that it might be a resource that shifts around like everything else so that its only one place for a shift then it moves around?

maybe thats why we stoped seeing it on naboo because it went to another planet? who knows maybe the devs took milk out jusut to anoy us

There is an abandoned city on Talus about 3km or so due south of Nashal, in which there are several searchable piles of trash. These trash piles generate 1-3 items about every 15 minutes to half hour. You'll find three possible things there - armor attachments, clothing tapes, and small stacks of random creature resources. Luckily the latter includes milk . It doesn't spawn too often though. On my server there seems to be an increasing amount of people checking these trash piles (primarily for the clothing tapes), so finding milk is a bit harder than the next-to-impossible it already was.

I don't have coordinates handy for the place, but you can find it on POI lists and maps under the name "abandoned city" or "creature town" or some similar thing.

guy sold me 1k of milk and he said there is a cave on lok where it drops from npcs in units of 10, sorry don't know anything more about it.
