Thread: The Kahmurith Bug

I have had third person contact with Kel, and the Kahmurith bug will be corrected. The bug arises, as far as I can tell, from the fact that when examined these pets don't say their resists. I have no idea what will happen to the current "uber pets," but they are quite unbalancing and need to be nerfed. I have been making them since before the patch went live and everyone on TC has agreed that these pets must be bugged. There is no way that the CL should be as it is. I posted how I did it numerous times here to get his attention, but when that seeming failed I contacted Vandessa, the correspondent of Test Center.

I know that this may upset a lot of BE's, but it is for the best. Pets of that caliber go against all the rules. Who cares about being a CH when you can have a pet that a CH can't naturally get until he progresses up at least 2 lowertiers of his skill sheet? I love bio-engineering, but even I can see the issue with these pets. If you disagree there really isn't much else I can say, but think of how hard this would make things if everyone was running around with these pets and you didn't have one. It would be horrible. I stated prior that we need a nerf, it is not a nerf when something that is broken is fixed even if the thing that is broken is desireable.

Thank you,

Vshbaa

I have to agree on this. If anything, correct the creature and give it resists and a boost in CL.

When I was wandering on Dathomir on the first live day, I came across one. When I examined it, I was stumped to see it had AR1 but no resists at all, like a n00b creature. I decided against sampling it because it seemed a little too strange to me.

Yeah I've only seen a Kahmurrith snapper which is 30% to everything but no armor and another type which was 10% to everything but with light armor. Sounds fairly resonable to me considering their CL ratings.

It is the Nocuous kamurith that has no resists in the examine

its odd because if you mix it with kamurith snapper DNA then you can about a lvl 26 creature with some awesome resists.

Certainly misleading. I didnt know it was a bug jsut a slightly bizzare result.

I agree on fixing that -creature-.

I'm not sure if your bringing it up for not in your post, but the low level/non-ch creaturesthat I've been making (While good statistically) aren't that powerful or imbalanced. I haven't used any Kathmurith DNA in them at all.

You mention that CH's are getting shafted. Of course they are. Why should a novice CH be able to drag a crummy wild creature out of the woods and have it be 10x better than something that's been cloned with powerful DNA and carefully worked on and experimented with to be better?

I really don't want to be forced to make mid-high level CH's my customer base.

question--What part of Dathomir might one find these creatures? I'd just like to try and make one of these non ch uber creatures before they are fixed

as soon as you try to throw armor on it the protects will go to 0 andwill be like 4 in the final product the armor jumps the level up too. I have gotten as low as 17 with armor.

I was testing not exploiting Leothric, whether you meant that as I took it or not.

At the current moment I have no idea if this will be retroactive with all pets made like this (I hope so). That will be up to Kel.

I doubt this is a bug at all because pre-nerf pets of the same CL are still better than this bio pet.

If you think this so called bug is so game breaking and you want it gone, post it. Its a foul tactic, but it works.

If after its posted and becomes general knowledge, its not fixed, then its not a bug or its not as game breaking as you think it is.

AgeOldMyth, Im sorry, but you are out of your mind. Show me a pre-nerf pet that's anywhere near as good as that bio pet... cl 8 with 45% res? and 9k health/6k action/mind?!? The old dalyrake harvester had better resists, but much lower ham (2700) and no where near that damage.

no way in heck does that pet equal cl 8, and compare that to every other cl 10 pre nerf pet in the wild... show me anything better
