I was wondering if a B-E on the lowca server would be kind enough to make me a kimo. And how much would it cost?

Pretty **edit** cheap considering you cant do anything with them other than put them on display.

I sell Kimos if the buyer understands that they can only be used as furniture. I make them out of Gnort DNA and for 5k.

I personally make furniture pets for 3k, and use rill/gorg/seriously idiot newbie critter dna and total crap meat and flora. No time or experimentation goes into it...just on the off-chance that even if it ever were tameable, no one would want to, it sucks too much.

Oh i dunno, even a dwarf nuna dna built kimo with crap resources is better than our best rancor.

what a silly statement. kimo's are furniture, nothing more. the stats are meaningless.

Yeah, they shouldn't cost too much. I used to charge more, in the vain hope that someday they would become tameable or removed and therefor rare, but we know that won't be the case. Even if they do become tameable the current ones we have would be too high in level, and it doesn't look they're going to be removed.

However they're pretty useless as furniture since they take up so much dang room. So unless you have a PA hall to put them in I wouldn't waste my time.

I dont know about this. I've been thinking (a danger in and of itself) and I'm starting to think there may be value in these. When our clone fixes go live in early 2006, or whenever they go live, I imagine kimo will no longer be craftable. So essentially, there will come a point where the number of kimo in the world is capped and like all other rare and unique item becomes valuable as a status symbol. I'm not saying go out and jack up the prices of your kimos, its just something to think about.

As an experiment I put five of these up on my vendor for 25k, with very clear statement saying they are purely for furniture asanimated statuesand wouldn't be tamable, and they were all gone in about 3 days.

it was stated in the dev post, or at least telthazars interpretation of it, that the current schematics will remain.

what about if you are a MCH (70 tame 70 pet lvl and pet lvls out) and get a BE shirt with +20 taming and get the skill tapes to have +20 pet lvls and pet lvls out that would = 90 tame 90 lvls out and max, KIMO is a lvl 90 pet that would let you tame it and call it

now all you have to do is get the tapes (LOL good luck)

But being that size will be based on stats the kimos we can make will be about half to 3/4th the size of a large one. Pre-nerf kimos will still be a collectors item. I bank on human idiocy and greed.

I did the same thing, just test the market only mine were 50k. They sold like hotcakes. Then I upped the price to 80k and they were still selling.
