Hey BE's. I am not a BE and really have little clue as to what you all do. So here's my question. I was told by a friend and long time player that on one server he has seen BE'd weapons. Well, being a master weaponsmith, this got me kind of excited. So ummm, is he yanking my chain or is this for real and if it is, and you are a master BE on Shadowfire, talk to me!

Confirmation?
You dont need Confirmation this is a fact.
There are components that can be gotten from loot or drops some where that look like Bio-Engineer devices....but they are not.
Bio-engineers cannot make many thinks...In fact I say this cool armor plate that literally blew the doors off ann component a bio-engineer could make. It gave like +15 to about 6 things...it was a somthing sister armor piece or something like that.
Anywise....thats just how it is...there is so much potential for Bio-engineers, but it seams like every patch another proffession gets something that should maybe be something bio-engineers should have been able to build.

You see, they implemented this real cool weapon only on the shadowfire galaxy. It's really awesome, but to get it you have to be a BE or know a BE, and have to go through a lot to get it.
First you have to travel to Endor and /pet an arcane queen.
Then you have to travel to Dathomir and /lick an ancient bull rancor
Then you have to travel to Tatooine and /boggle at a Krayt Dragon Ancient
Then just to verify your worthiness you have to speak nothing but l33t for 24 hours.
When you login the next day, you will have this weapon... or so I'm told ![]()

Hmmm, sounds like ArthurDent had a nice heaping spoonful of sarcasm on his Cheerios this morning. My apologies to you for asking a noob question, that is why I posed it to the masters. Hopefully when you have a question you need answered you will not receive the same response. I will inform my colleague he must have been mistaken. To quote Fez "good day, sir, I said good day."

lol, lighten up man. After the first person answered your question in no uncertain terms, quite correctly I might add, you seemed to require a different answer, so I gave you one
Good day to you sir

Speaking of component....that Mandelorian thing coming out....I was reading it.
It seams that to be in a lower mione area their is bad air which requires a....*gasp*....Gas Mask.
So anywise I am hoping this will bee something that we bio-engineers will be able to build.
Although maybe not...usualythey give these things to Artisans and Doctors....go figure.
And although it does sound more like a Scout or Ranger schematic....but still...I do have hope.

A different answer? No.
Confirmation on the specific server? Yes.

yes, because we all know the professions are so much different depending on the server you're on?
Next you'll be thinking 'the cockroach always wins'

I see that you need a specific responce....again...NO...there are no Bio-Engineered weapons not on Shadowfire nor on your friends server.
He is yanking your chain....or perhaps he thinks some of the Drops from loot are Bio-engineered materials like Krayte scales and Dathomirian Sister Plates, or perhaps he has seen some of the interesting weapons out there that cause poison or have special modifiers on them.(yes I have a sword I got as loot that causes poison)
I have seen these and I even have some....But like skill tapes they are only loot drops......I think many people would love to be able to make them...but right now we cannot.
I hope that answers your question.

LOL hey all this is my fault anyways I normally play Shadowfire but last week got bored and I have a few old friends from UO that play Starsider so I decide to go there for a bit and have some fun. So I end up in Mos Eisly as a newb rifleman and get the whole new player experience which woulda been cool when most of us first started. Anyways after earning some credits I decide to go weapon shopping I do a search on the map find the closest weapon smith and head to his shop. This guy is set up in a mall right next to a bio engineer ok and he is advertising his weapons as being bio-egineered which I thought odd but the seemed to be faster and do more damage than other's I had seen anyway's yeah I know it sounded odd I would see that on Starsider and not Shadowfire but they also had paintings and other stuff we do not have yet on our server or just have failed to find. Sorry to cause any confussion LOL just thought it was something new and I do know the difference between loot weapon's and crafted usally a crafted one say's who crafted it. Anyways thanks again for your insight.

Could this weapon vendor maybe have meant they were weapons made using components and/or schematics from the geonosian bio-lab?
