Thread: Any info on the Secret Research Data?

It seems that in all the new additives that BE's can make, there is an optional slot for "secret research data," does anyone know what it is, and possibly where to get it?

Isn't there a cave or dungeon thing where there is a lootable BE item at the end? Not sure if this was already in or what... but I remember reading about it awhile back. Could it be from that?

No evidence from TC, but I'm guessing it's a Geonosian Loot item (from the Geo dungeon that will be introduced soon). The Geonosian dungeon is actually a BE Cloning Facility.

what stupid piece of junk is this. I mean seriuosly. Do they really need to force us to do quest? in order to get schematics? COME ON!!!

If that is true, Haven't we as a profession jumped through enough hoops to Please SOE? I am tired of them breaking (I consider the game allowing me to create items that it won't allow broken) something BE with every patch. I created this character in October wanting to master BE. This is a pain.


And we still can's fish on Vaclyn, So no pet Stim D's.

I've got a tube I looted a while back that says its the color Changing DNA of a Capper Spineflap...


Could this be the Research data we are looking for?

I'll have to check it out when I get back on.

It means that you can craft the item, even without the so-mysterious component..
