You know, I hate to pick a bone, Loomis, but...

Every time I hop on these boards, the only things I read are your one-liner posts criticizing someone else's work ("too bad you have to be such-and-such to use it...your creation and expenditure of effort is therefore both stupid and irrelevant") or the work of the devs ("this new system is a pain...the devs should've made it easier to figure out"). I think this is the definition of trolling, but I really don't know as I'm not up to speed with all the BBS terminology these days.

In short, yeah, I might be playing the role of "care bear" or some such, but it is really not constructive at all to criticize someone else's hard work without at the very least offering some kind of suggestion to improve it.

In that vein, my suggestion to you is to make your posts actually worth reading, or, lacking that, stop posting until you can get the maturity to offer constructive criticism.

And Wicket...Nice work I think you might want to try mantigrue reapers somewhere in there to get a ranged attack and to lower the CL a bit. Even though some of the secondary resists would take a hit, you'd be able to keep the CL into a range where a CH could call something small with complementary specials (like maybe KD and intimidate...that would make a killer combo if used in conjunction with your kimo). I would suggest seeing if you could get some DNA and mix it with something of a lower CL (mantigrue reaper and bark mite burrower DNA would be a good start) and see if you can get it at a lower CL.

All in all, though, that's a good start at an excellent CL 50-ish generational pet. You could even luck out and manage to get some DNA and not kill that kimo; then you could make 2 pets and sell them both

Big deal loomis...there are alot of clothing that can have + taming clothes on them. It's not really a drawback anymore that milk is available, so i really dont see what your point is other than trying to rain on someones elses parade.

Lol, all you're doing is further proving my point as you post yet another one-liner criticizing me and my lack of BBS knowledge. My apologies for not knowing precisely what trolling is. In any case, you've got yet another one-line post (well, maybe two lines once you remove the quoted stuff) without anything constructive in it.

And while we're on the topic of constructive posts...Just because a statement is true doesn't mean it's relevant or necessary. It may be true that you're a waste of Forum space when it comes to making constructive comments, but that doesn't mean it's necessary or relevant to this thread (which was devoted to Wicket's kimo). I notice you've yet to post anything near a way to improve on this creature, but then again, such a post would probably be longer than your one-line limit...

Sorry to remove the focus from your work for the moment, Wicket, but I take issue with someone being an @$$ to a new BE without offering any kind of way to improve. The BE Forum population seems small enough as is without doofuses scaring new people away.

On the topic at hand...If you need any kind of help with anything, I'd be glad to give advice where I can...I'm by no means all-knowing, but I have a few tricks that you might be interested in knowing. I'm on the Naritus server, and now that they've enabled inter-galaxy tells, you can get me any time

Umm, my experience since a day after its introduction is that inter-galaxy tells are BROKEN. Another thing on the list. Or it works for one party, but not the other. Thus the error msg, "the name Bria.so and so" is invalid, or something to that effect. Even though, just a day after the introduction, the name worked just fine.

Very nice work Wicket. Also remember you only need to have the taming clothes to call the beast not to controll it after it has been called..And what some must not know who posted in this thread basically telling you it's a waste..It's not for we make those tissues that give you the ability to have taming in clothing..So my advise find a Master Tailor work a deal with him and get you a few clothes use them only to call your pets that you cannot without them then change after they are out..Some people make a big deal over little things that can easily be worked around.

Nice work.

Nice one Wicket, and on my server as well -what planet are you based on, if I might ask? Oh, and if folks are asking about the problem with calling one you might just package up a bunch of those new +taming biscuits that chef's got to go with it if you don't have taming clothes sorted out yet.

Here's one my gurrecks.

It's not the best gurreck a BE can make. Mixing mutant rancor and rancor youth DNAs, you can make a pet with no vulnerability, 44% against kinetic, 60% against energy, invulnerable to heat, cold and electricity, and 25% against blast, acid and stun. With some luck you can get dizzy and knockdown as specials as well, though it seems that knockdown doesn't work.

Anyway, congratulations!
