Hi,

Im not sure if this has already been said in this forum , but there is a bug that lets non-CH players use Pets up to lvl 50, all of them Bio Engeniered. Our outpost receivd an attack yesterday of a group of people and a couple of master commanods were using 10k ham grauls and some others Razor Cats lvl 25 ... A friend of mine can use a lvl 25 razor cat and he is only novice commando and he has no scout skills ......

The bug seems to be in bio razor cats and Grauls !

Watch out. The uber players will start saying that was intended because the devs haven't commented on it, lol.

please provide screen shots if you can.

I made my self a lv 14 kusuk for when I had some CH skills, when I droped to novice I can no longer pull it so it seems to be working fine. Also if you can look at the level of these critters in your data pad. If they are lv 0 or lv 1 they are pre patch critters and are currently bugged, and yes we know. If they are lv 25 or 50 in your data pad as you say this is something I haven't heard of yet.

This was reported in the CH forums a while back...

Make sure they actually are CL30-25. It's possible that they're actually just more of these super clones since they'll typically have stats equal to something around that range. I'm surprized that some of them were grauls though since they're an aggressive species which a non-ch shouldn't be able to use at all. The razor cats they can though.

It's listed in the CH "State of the Profession" from Vertexon, so it is known. That'll probably get fixed before we do...

  • Exploits allowing CH to call many simultaneous pets, exceeding one’s control limit. The fix for this in the previous build does not appear to have prevented all instances of the exploit.

I've run into a similiar bug. I can control more than my CH levels allow me to right now. I have a Kima thats not yet full grown at level 9, and a gurrcat that is full grown at level 21. I made both myself. My current max controllable is level 21, but if i get out the kima first and then the gurrcat i can control them both. Its only these two creatures and only in that order. I'm thinking that whatever bug is allowing them to do that is the same thing that is applying to me.

Same thing with the pre patch Blurrgs

If I bring a Blurrg out last it dosn't properly calculate whetehr I can control it. I couldn't tame it until I was a qualified level. These pets are probably trained by someone with transfer, transfered to the target and then they are able to call them due to the bug.

The bit with bringing out mulitple pets beyond your limit is different, it has to due with exploiting zone bounderies and server delay and has been around for quite a while.

Honestly I think I have seen a simliar problem although I have not tested it.

I have a BE'd gurreck that was created pre-patch. I didn't tame the gurreck until after the patch. When I did, in my datapad, his level has shown 1(0) ever since. I could tell he was 'growing up' though due to his HAM increasing day by day. In the end, even when fully grown, he still reads 1(0).

I have been able to call my frienzied graul (56), female kaadu mount (12), and a fully grown gurreck (0). I can do it anytime I like. I have not used this combination in combatas I know it's an exploit, and honestly, I don't really need another creature out other than my graul anyway.

An interesting note though. It seems that once called, the gurreck takes on the appropriate CL. If I call the gurreck first, then I can only call out low level pets and not the frenzied. THe only way I can get all 3 creatures out is if I call the graul & kaadu first, and then the gurreck.

I have sent in bug reports and hopefully this will be fixed to curb the exploiters.

i hjate having big animals out in combat, and they steel most the XP anways, i like a nice strong support pet that i dont have to worry about, strong enough to last a few hits, not not something i want tanking 24/7.

They could have been "Befriended" to them. I do this for my buddies when Im not feeling like hunting and they will be on the same planet as I am sampling on.

The interesting thing about your post is that the new pets (post patch generated deeds) show cl1 for anyone that Examines a pet externally once tamed (ie examine another players pet stats when its out) I know the old pet deeds (generated pre-patch but tamed post patch)show up as cl0 in the datapad when full grown but i cant remeber how they look on an extenal Examine. If they showed their cl level externally ie 25-50 they are prolly wild or pre-patched deeds tamed after the patch.

Is it possible that the pets were commanded to "befriend" theplayers so they can use them for the battle?
