Thread: Question about Mounts
Empathy IV.
But, do you honestly think there is anyone with Emapthy IV who is not Master CH? It is the last line anyone levels up.

Yeah, what he said.
So far all I hear is that these critters will be able to be mounts (insert list)
In some of the postings, it suggests that every variant of the breed will be mountable. Like a Male Kuuda as compared with plain Kuuda. And a Male Bol and not just a Bol. Being a CH and BE with Ranger partner, I have been looking over the critter selection, it is very wide range if all variants are able to be mounted.
Also, does the owner of the mount have to have the CH level to manage it? Or is it just a mount, like a hourse with no battle ablities. (Like you cant tell a mount to attack, it is a mount not a battle critter)
Just a few thoughts
Sckoarn ;(
Yes, the CL of the pet counts against your total.
Variants? got me.
These are all good questions. You might consider reposting this on the CH board where they have an actual correspondent that has access to what is being tested. Bet you'll get an answer there much faster than here.

If you get the dew trained as a mount, you'll still need a pet call level of 20 (dewbacks are CL 19) to call the pet and use it as a mount.
If you drop CH altogether, you're probably best off with alesser dew or a lesser plains bol as your mount.
So I make a pet that's capable of being a mount. It goes into my inventory. I then give it to a CH. He tames it and trains it mountable. At this point it goes into the datapad, he can still give it back to me, but now it's no longer an inventoried item.
Is that the correct way? Is there any way to get it back so it can be posted on the bazaar or something, or am I stuck selling it by trading it out of the datapad? Any info or tips appreciated, thanks.
