What lvls of the CH skill tree do you have to be to tame and use the non-agressive slice hounds? Also, where might be the best pilace to find one?

I don't know what CL slice hounds are, but I do remember seeing tons of the non-aggressive type around the hidden Rebel Base in the mountains NW of Kor Vella.

I am a Squad Leader on Flurry. I was reading some of your forum and noticed that there was mention of BE pets for non CH players. Currently I have a Forest slice hound as a pet, but since I use him solely, he is getting worn down. I have tried other pets, but none work with my fight style as well. Basically can a BE on flurry server make me one? Also i was curious about the biosensors, is there any place I can read up on what they are suppose to do? Thanks in advance.

BioSensor give a bonus to:

Medicine use (is going away)

Wound Treatment

Injury Treatment

Nope...

Need to tame a new one when he gets to old for combat!!!... Again the factor of us only having 34 clones creaps up...

Try a Kuask or a Choku... Those are the closest thing to a slice hound we BE's can make!

However, should note that a Kusak is level 16 and aggressive, so a non-CH, like our poster here,can't use it

Thanks again for the reply. I was actually looking for any possible way of getting one cloned, not particualrly Spike (my pet). I guess whatI am asking is "What limits you on the creatures that get cloned, if anything?"

Personally I am willing to hunt slice hounds for what ever resource is needed to get one, especially if it can get me a slice hound that could possibly be made better then the one I have. Currently spike has 2700 ham, no armor, special resist of 35% Kinetic. Most important thing, he doesn't run away when he gets hit. Can BEs "upgrade" animals? mix a slice hound with a rancor, and have some uber dog with 5k ham? (a bit exagerrated, but im ignorant on what the class can do).

No, we can't upgrade

No, we cannot make them under any circimstances

Yes it sucks, complain to your local bio-eng designer to get those fixes done sooner.

Get the clone fixes in, and they can "upgrade" to a new pet.

Jordan: said to get either a Kuask or a Choku. saddly BOTH of these are not usable by Non-CH's. i am a Ch i would suggest a Cowardly Gurrek. 3200 HAM and a good fighter, this is still one of my favorit pets i use all the time. they are found on Endor... make a post on you galaxies board asking a CH on that server to find one for you, or drop by our CH board...its good either way. this will compliment ALOMST ANY fighter in game.

Tal-n: i know we keep getting these same questions, but he didnt know and i am sure you didnt mean to sound rude but you kind of came off that way. he even stated that he had no clue exactly what it is we can do, he probably didnt know how broken our class is & that we are the red-headed step child of SOE that no one wants. so not flamingya bro, sorry, i hope if didnt come out that way....arent you on Kauri? i thought i saw your name there.

Thanks for the responses. I am rooting for your professionto get fixed. It has alot of potential for sure. If it helps you any to know, I am a squad leader, the one of the most underplayed professions. We feel like we are the red headed step-children also. Reading different profession boards, i can't think of any that work completely as they should, just some are more effective at what they do with the parts that aren't broken.

As far as the advice on the cowardly gurrek, i have one, and the cat runs away to much for me. worse, he runs out my weapon range with the npc, then gets incapped before i get to him. spike on the other hand will stay until incapped, if things get that bad.

hmm weird my cowardly gurrek is all about staying in the fight, and so is the one i trained for a friend. oh well sorry to hear that also i think some one said something about a rock beattle...they dont do an extreme amount of damage but definately are tough as hell, unless your opponent has a weapon with AR2 or higher...like i can solo a rock and owner most times(cept the **edit** BH and comandos, in that cas ei am fodder) cause i use my T21 with AR3. but i also just picked up a few malkloc's i am gonna see how they do with a non CH, i think they are also NON-CH controlable. they read as a LVL 13 i think so if they are usable i will tell ya. they are 5500 hame 190 damage, i dont think they will run. like i sia di will leave amessage here for ya.
