Thread: Lvl 12 with light armour?
I made this today and it got me wondering if it would be possible to get a similar lvl creature with light armour, the lowest I have heard of is 19 with like 60% resistance (this kwi was actually an offshoot of that recipe kind of), what do you think?

Zad got CL 15 as I recall. I've gotten CL 16 is my personal best (through a crit fail in experimentation) but I've never really tried to push it. My CL 16 still had a bit of damage on him but was probably around the minimum on to-hit. So I dunno.

Yeah 15 was the lowest. I used kept reusing DNA and using slight variations in the stats. Basically the generations looked like this:
CL20 - 19 - 19 -18 - 18 - 18 - 17 - 16 - 16 - 15 - 15 - 5 - 5 - 5 - 15 - 15 - 5 - 5
and so on. Whenever it dropped to level 5, it was virtually identical to the cl15 except it had no armour. This could suggest that there is a hard cap of 10 levels for armour, until I can get my hands onto the dna in the sandbox - i'll never know.
Nice Kwi btw. Pretty good for a BH dabbling in CH i reckon.

Zad, when you did that were you doing 5x the previous gen's dna? or were you re-introducing 1st gen (mh) dna?

it was 5 x previous generation, or when necessary: previous gen - previous gen - junk - junk - previous gen
i would substitute MH into the physique slot to bring up the fortitude if it had dropped.
to get it at CL 12 you'd have to use a CL2 min skin.......from what it looks like, Zad was using a CL 5 min skin
Bio template, Master Bio, Ranger 0-0-1-0, Pikeman 1-0-4-4, medic 0-1-0-4,, Ohh can i unlock today and remake : ) Maybe a twi'lek this time instead of a trandosian

yes i did use dewbacks for most of the research although if i remember rightly, i did try it with a jax skin once as well but AFAICR it wielded no different results. I think I still have one of the cl 15 pets lying around so if I ever go BE again i could try again.

How did you manage to kill hardiness without killing fortitude?
As you can see they totally suck in terms of damage, to-hit etc. At
that point I was interested in making a balanced pet - just getting the level as
low as possible. I did use dewback skins which was probably a mistake, but
hey, i got a thing for dewwies.
How did I get the hardiness low? I have no idea. I just kept
resampling and re-using DNA. These pets have more recessive DNA than a
