Thread: BE Guide coming

Idea for future Friday Feature: Documentation for the BE creature creation system. There is currently no documentation for this complicated and revolutionary system. None in print, none online, none in-game. There have also been no BE dev answers to any questions that have been asked about the system since it went live 2-3 months ago.
Documentation, documentation, documentation. My biggest complaint about this game is that no one on the dev staff seems interested in the least in providing documentation when you make massive changes to the game. At best we get something on the forums, which only about a third of all players read.
I agree. It is on the list of future Friday Features. TH is going to work with designers on an Advanced Guide to BE and we also want to do an Advanced Guide to Skill Mods. It's hard to schedule the time right now, but expect them within the next month.
Documentation on future changes should be better because Runsabre is making better design docs a requirement.
I see a bright light shinning down upon us... Thank you Devs...
No, wait... oh damn! That was just another critical failure ![]()
But it is still nice to actually have an outline for Bio Engineering.

Well, YAY!
Good news, though I do hope it's a bit more than "Pick up the DNA and then drop it on the slot to the right. Do this 5 times and hit the button down the bottom"
)
I mean with a game as revolutionary as SWG, golden in so many ways, why would you leave it to the pcs to muddle through their professions unaware of what half of their commands actuelly did or what they could be doing? I understand it's an MMO, which apperntly translates in Latin into "God Forbid you Print out Text About The Game" cuase really, it'll be out of date in a week, but why isn't there some Dev approved up to date SITE some where or something?
I just made novice BE last night
But talk about lost... I have lotsa questions forming, and when I have them, I hope that you will help me out. A guide would be nice.
Thanks,
