TKA is one of the most important professions in PvP. There are so many factors. Unarmed toughness is just about the only tool that prevents you from instantly getting ganked by jedi. A jedi that has been intimidated by a TKA who is on synthsteak can easily take out a jedi if he's clever. TKA have combat equilibrium which gives you an automatic response to knockdowns / posture change. This is also useful when fighting those nasty things on Dath who like to use KD/Dizzy
. TKMs are the fastest combat prof in the game and one of the hardest hitters. They can target ever body part, which is invaluable. Most of all, TKA have meditate which can boost your stats by about 500 for 10 minutes, cure poison, cure disease, cure bleeding and heal wounds. Frankly I loved TKA and I was BE/TKA for a long while.
Thanks for the advice, I was hesitant to give up TK after 90K xp. Maybe i'll see what else i can get with my remaining skill points, if i have any.

lol. I was recently Master Rifles / MBE - but tbh its only good if ur speed capped else you will spend ages trying to get enough meat to go around (never believed in buying meat, could never find a regular supplier). I could get 25k of dant carnivore meat per buff session which is more than enough for a full of BSNs.

Oops, I forgot to mention that I've also got a vendor so I've also got up to Business 3 in the Artisian tree. Here's my character template (I'm going frommemory, so I couldbe wrong):
Medic -0/0/0/4
Artisian - 0/0/3/0
Scout -4/0/4/0
Swordsman - 4/4/4/4

This leaves me no skill points left to make Master Swordsman.Andall I need is1 skill point to make it !!! I need my vendor so I can't lose the Artisian tree, and I need the Scout skills for maskscent and creature harvesting. But if I was to drop exploration 4, how would that affect my skill at getting closer to creatures to harvest DNA? Especially if I had a +25 maskscent shirt? Anyone know if I would notice a big difference trying to get close to creatures if I did that?
it would be like trying to sample Muties without wearing BE clothing. It would probably be very difficult. Merek Harvesters would also give you a hard time but they wouldn't be impossible. The new vendor changes have completely **edit**ed BEs.
What's the char template that you are using?Because I'm a Master BE but am only 4/4/4/4 in Swordsman. All I need is one more point to get Master Swordsman, but I can't seem to give up anything that will hurt my BE skills (such as in Exploration in the Scout tree). I'm4/0/4/0 in theScoutTree. Did you give up Exploration 4 or something? What did you give up to become a Master Swordsman?

I see that this was from mememory, so I assume on the medic you meant 0400. Not sure what 0004 would do you for you, unless it is to make pet stims. What ever it is I would drop it so you could get master. Invest the other points in medic for healing or add to artisan and then buy your components for pet stims(if that is why you have 0004) from a Master Doc. I would not drop the any scout.
