So they took away what they considered to be pets that were too strong, lowered the non-ch to a pittiful CL10... then gave non-chs pets which would wipe the floor with anything they previous owned before the patch?

You know I might agree that these pets are too strong but can we just let it go till we get a DEV to actually say something?

We can hope. I would like to beat the DEV's for taking a vacation without clarifing anything on a patch they just installed but....

Id be a bit more direct, but I dont want to get any warning emails. Teachers pets have itchy "report post" fingers.

Actually I'm tired of both sides of the arguement neither side knows what is intended so why argue about it in the first place. Yes they are too strong and will probably be nerfed/fixed but other than warning customers of this if that's what the request that's what I'll build them.

Ok that hurts. Genuinely. What do you think we're trying to do here? You think we're trying to set standards because were that full of ourselves? You think we're trying to make it OUR game and not everyones game? I mean for gods sake, the people who are making all this fuss about this being unbalanced are people who have time and again tried to do something for the community. Me, I've put forwards more ideas for fresh and exciting stuff in some of the most detailed topics than I personally seen from any single person on this board. Sumo? The guy has put extensive time into making out indepth guides and gathering information for the community. Then you have Talthazar, da correspondant... if you think this guy doesn't consider him as being there for the community as much as possible then something is wrong with you.

All I'm saying is that ok, we think we're right. Nobody is going to deny that, but thinking your right isn't a crime. We're not simply saying to people.. "you must agree with this because I said it".. we're presenting quotes, facts and things that the devs have said. If you don't want to accept them fine, but don't start snapping at us because we think we're trying to once again do something beneficial for a community. Yes it's a nerf, but not all nerfs are bad.

Correct, big durni's aren't an exploit. But since when did CSRs know jack? When it was possible to sample clones which were dropped in other peoples houses or tame them did you know alot of people who lost pet deeds via this means were told by the CSRs that it was a game feature and that theft of this neature was by design? Fact is, CSRs in general are not even half aware of what the game is about.

Face it. CSRs know squat. And you'll never get a comment from a dev without several thousand posts pointing out what is obvious to anyone playing the game. The only way to get a change is to advertise the exploits.

No one is arguing that you and Sumo don't provide some great input in these forums Tal, but this "super10's" things getting/gotten out of hand.

The Devs have been alerted and will, according to Talth, take action once they are back from holidays. There are enough threads and posts that anyone that actually reads the forums is aware there is an issue (there are many more that don't ever read the forums, but apart from Launcher messages and spamming in game there isn't much you can do there).

What more do you hope to achive by continuing to stir this up?

Well i've been looking for this quote for ages. I did drop this whole thing earlier this week but then i came across that and just decided to post this now cause it's a valuable peice of information. But anyway I'm done now, I'll let Sumo and Talth get back to throwing the petrol onto this fire now. It's called tag-team ranting, a new sport is born
